I forgot where I first saw it but it’s genius. I glued some Velcro onto my push cart to offer a convenient place to put my glove. 06306C89-05E0-453D-82C3-2F88A5B0DDBB.jpeg.d48de5c8a530c36daa886e6d4233212f.jpeg

Same push cart, same idea first used to mount a small thermometer that broke but now just a spare hook side of the velcro 👍  now I have another place for my glove!

Another tip is using D-Rings to hang things from the attachment buttons.

There’s Velcro Strip can hold 3 gloves.  The black one on top hard to see.

Playing a course with a lot of goose poop. Put womens disposable shower caps over the wheels of your push cart. At the end of the round just toss them out.

Good idea, but I play courses with little goose poop and whistle Little Deuce Coupe while walking down the fairway.

Even pre-Covid I thought the water stations on golf courses were five-gallon petri-dishes and I didn’t like drinking from them, and I don’t like to carry a lot of water bottles. So, I had an Osprey 3L bladder (like a CamelBak if you are familiar with those) and I carry the Osprey for water. It fits in the long pocket of my golf bag, and I run the drinking straw to the top of the golf bag, and I have water within easy reach.

In the summer I keep a gallon of water in the refrigerator overnight to cool. Then on golf day I pack the Osprey with ice and then fill it with the cool water when I get to the course.

In non-summer months I just pack the Osprey with ice and fill with water before I leave home.

I walk quite a bit and since I have a BatCaddy the weight from the water isn’t an issue.

Some time back the local county health department tested some of the local courses, and most were indeed the awful quality you describe. They passed a regulation requiring some updates: cleaned every day, handled only by food service workers (no course workers with potentially chemical debris on them), and must have solid ice in them at all times. I think that regulation has now been adopted state wide (Ohio). When I went to work at a post-retirement job the club did not know of the regulation, but was happy to add it to my duties. The super was very pleased!
