Bachelor Party Golf Trip Summer 2024

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone, I am on a search to find a hidden gem course/courses for my own bachelor party this year! I am looking for 3-4 rounds of golf in a relatively remote area in late July/Mid August. I do not desire to have crazy nightlife options. Mostly looking for a place to hangout and do some old fashioned drink and hang with the guys. I am looking majority east coast. I have entertained the Pocono mountains, the Smokey mountains, and possibly Virginia highlands. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I would also love to hear about some similar style trips.

Note: I lived in Pinehurst for 2 years so the trip to Pinehurst was done many times with friends coming to me!

Old Toccoa Farm is interesting (GA/TN border mountains). Just one course but a very nice, remote experience. Also would recommend the Barnsley Resort (also in GA mountains) that is remote and a good experience.

Often overlooked but worth the look, is the golf capital of TN. It is Cumberland County TN. Fairfield Glades. 10 golf courses by well known designers. Rental condos galore and a quiet area. Prices are reasonable as well.

This is ironically a great suggestion. I am getting married in the GA Mountains! After looking at both of these they are beautiful courses (good reviews too). Certainly will be checking out some availability for stays today. Thanks!

Not sure how far you want to travel, but Old Waverly is a great option in West MS. Built on an old plantation and the house is the clubhouse. They also have Mossy Oak right next door as a second option for golf. Cabins on both courses too. Both are top 100 you can play in the US.
