Sand Valley Golf Courses

This place has started popping off in my feeds and it looks incredible. I am growing increasingly more interested it figuring out how I can go there and make a week of it to play as much golf as possible and maybe film some content along the way. 

Who has experience there? What were your thoughts? For those who also have been looking at Sand Valley, how does it rank when you look at other places such as Streamsong, Bandon and others?

Fantastic property, haven’t played the full courses but the par 3 is a blast. It’s #1 on my trip bucket list

I went to Sand Valley a few years ago (2021) with some buddies from another golf forum.  We played Mammoth dunes Once, Sand Valley twice, and the Sandbox every morning.  We stayed off-site, so our tee times were late morning each day, allowing the Sandbox rounds to warm up.

The courses were fabulous, MD a bit less demanding, SV pretty tough, and the Sandbox had a great variety.  Food (and beer) on-site is very reasonably priced and very good.  At the time I was there, Lido had just been started, but the photos make that look great.  Even the prices for golf seemed relatively reasonable, at least compared to more famous resorts like Pinehurst or Pebble Beach.  

We also stopped to play at Lawsonia Links on our way back to Milwaukee.  A completely different golf course, built in the days of steam shovels.  

I'd recommend any or all of these courses
