First off I'm sorry I can post a link or embed the video....

 

Last night I stumbled across a YouTube video titled, Bantam Ben. It's about an hour long and was recorded in the early 60's it looked like. It was basically a series of interviews with Hogan reflecting on his career and life. Pretty interesting stuff. There was of course some shots of Hogan playing, etc. It's really cool old school stuff.

 

Here's how to find it:

Do a search on YouTube for the Ball Striker channel

Search for Bantam Ben

Search for Ben Hogan

 

I use ChromeCast a lot and cast my YouTube vids over to my TV. Works great.

Thanks to both of you for this.  I'm a bit young to have seen Hogan play, but I love reading and watching anything I can about him.  I've read His Five Lessons, and then two books by James Dodson  Ben Hogan: An American Life and American Triumvirate the story of Hogan, Sam Snead and Byron Nelson.   All of them were fantastic.

 

I'll watch this on the Ipad this weekend.

LOL.... I'd forgotten the vid had a TV commercial of the "Big Rider". A Chevy Impala they said was the ultimate.... 18 feet long and 4000 pounds. What a beast! My old man had a 4-door model.
