I'm not sure how many have seen or used the Reks, but I thought I'd post and give my thoughts.

I have the slingblade version. Have had them for about 3 months. I had a gold lense pair and then gray as you can see in the picture.i ended up sending the gold back for a refund as they just didn't fit my eye.

 

The glasses overall are super comfortable. I wear them for golf, driving and pretty much whenever there's sunlight. They fit REALLY well, even with a hat on. I've had glasses before that either didn't fit, or made my ears raw when wearing them with a hat. These are perfect. These are all also extremely light and fit on my big head (7 & 3/4 fitted hat) perfectly. I think the flexibility makes em fit great.... Even when swinging aggressively.

 

The gold lenses were nice, although I wasn't getting as crisp of a view through them as I do the gray. The grays give of more of a blue color and I love it. They really are great to use and the durability and cost is right in my wheel house.

 

I think the best thing for me in the purchase process was that I could but any pair and try them for 30 days and send them back for free for a refund, no questions asked. That makes me feel comfortable about the purchase. Oh I also appreciate the nice case that comes along with the glasses.

 

Just a great experience with these glasses so far.

 

Anyone else bought a pair of Reks? What are your thoughts?

Yeah, it's a great policy. That's why I ordered two right off the bat. Let us know what you think if you snag a pair!

They look great.   I just wish I could wear sunglasses.  I have some prescription ones in a pretty fashionable Oakley frame, but my script is so strong along with them being progressive, they are pretty much useless   for golf.  I can't follow the ball more than 50 yards off the club and even the vision is not very crisp.  So mostly they a very expensive item in my console of the car... :wub:

I know. That pretty much sums up how I feel about it everytime I ask my ophthalmologists for a sunglass script that can put me in standard Tupe frames and lens. And he says "not possible"

How has durability been so far? These seem like a super deal if they don't get scratched up or snap during moderate use/storage. Oh- are they polarized? I peeked at the website for price, but forgot to look for this...

They've held up great. I've dropped them at least a dozen times on pavement and other hard surfaces. Lenses aren't scratched. Fit well still. I usually 'store' them on my passenger seat or on my hat/head. And yes, they are polarized.
