Rickp
Had my 6 mo Doc visit this morning after playing 9 holes. Doc went over last weeks blood test results and was a happy boy. Comemonday
Further to OG and GS Barba's posts regarding weight loss and helping each other out, I'm starting this thread in the hopes that those of us that need or could stand to lose a bit of weight will chime in. I really want to get down to 180lbs. I've been struggling with my weight for years and my lowest (about 6 months ago) was 199.2lbs. I've crept back up to 207lbs and am not really happy about it....but that's the holiday season. So, I'm thinking that those of you who want to participate can just post here, maybe what you're doing, eating etc or just a weekly/fortnightly weigh in. So that's it in a nutshell, chime in or I'll talk to myself. this is the original post!!!!! What am I missing?!?!? He's asking what do I do/ have done. I replied look into keto. Now according to you and I'm a troll and Rick even suggested I'm a vaccination denier?!?!?. I never mentioned vaccines until Rick did and then I'm quoted on that as if I started with that. Let me make this as simple as I can for two guys who clearly hate keto for some reason. Look into it. Stop calling me a troll and stop crying to a moderator when I send you a private message asking what your problem is. Oh and btw how is your so full of knowledge about diet and you haven't answered one question I put back on you? Just implied names is all you've given. garethw
I grew up using Stones, live in a country that uses KG's and you guys use pounds. Before I broke my leg I was 90KG or 14.1 Stones or 198 pounds. In the 4 months I was unable to exercise or move to much that went up by 6KG or 13 pounds. At only 5'10 I am noway tall enough for that extra weight. I am currently 93.7KG / 206 pounds. I want to lose that 3.7 KG which is all on my stomach now. I cut out cans of soda, halved the sugar in my tea, cake once a week, no chocolate, and no junk food. I also drink 3 -5 cups of green tea everyday. I use the gym 5 days a week, lifting weight and finishing with 30 minutes light CV. That routine has so far dropped off 5 pounds. The big BUT here is muscle has increased and the fat has moved or my shape has changed. Its hard to lose that stubborn stomach fat.
