Rotating Shaft Adapter

So maybe I'm the only one who is OCD about things like this, but is it possible to rotate the shaft adapter so the graphics are either face up or face down? I have a shaft with a cobra adapter, and when installed to my preferred loft, the graphics are positioned in a way that drive me crazy looking at it. 

 

Yes I know it doesn't affect the play, and I know it's purely OCD but is it possible to remove it and have it reinstalled? This is when I miss the Callaway adapter haha.

Yes you can. U will just need to have the ability to pull graphite shafts.

That's the issue with all of these Optifit adapters.  If you are OCD about the logo facing a certain way, you are screwed unless you like taking things apart and putting them back together again.  But that also weakens the shaft the more you do it.  

So .... find out what setting you like & stick with it.  Set it & Forget it as they say.  

You also have this issue with certain grips.  Ever notice that most OEM's use the standard GP Tour Velvet with no logo or special design on off the rack clubs?  That's so you don't have the issue with the constant rotating of the adapter.  I used to have that problem with the Titleist drivers until I found my setting and don't move it anymore.  And if you use one of the new grips like the MCC Align .... you better Set it & Forget it with those grips.

I had ordered it a certain way but it came wrong. And instead of sending it back I figured I'd just do it myself. I'm not a fan of the tour velvets but that's another thing that drives me crazy.

Hope you do trust them cause I do all my own work just for that reason.  I don't trust anyone ... especially at a Richards!  I love going into one of their stores & talking to one of the guys in the golf department only to find out that I know more than he does!

I wasn't aware of any graphics visible at address with this adapter, unless it's an aftermarket design.

If I had a setup like the Nut cave I'd do it myself too!! ThoughI'd replace the Caps stuff with Pens gear but that's about it...

That's what I like about the Callaway adapter. The shaft doesn't move, the cogs on the adapter move. So the graphics and grip stay in the same position.

I know. I played the XR16 Pro and the Epic for awhile and loved that adapter. I've moved on from Callaway but their adapter is the best design in my opinion.
