Callaway Golf Sells 3 of Carlsbad Buildings

Callaway Golf Co. has sold three of its Carlsbad industrial properties totaling 263,240 square feet in a single transaction for $18.5 million, cash.

 

The buildings are at 2285 Rutherford Road (133,000 square feet), 5960 Pascal Court (80,620 square feet) and 5928 Pascal Court (39,620 square feet). The buyer was LBA Riv-Company VI LLC, c/o LBA Realty, 17901 Von Karman, Suite 950, Irvine 92614. The one-story warehouse building on Rutherford was constructed in 1991 on a 6.55-acre lot. In September 1993, the property was sold for $8.73 million.

I'm not sure about the other addresses, but the 2285 (and 2180) Carlsbad address is the address on the box when you buy clubs from them directly. Over the years, the people at Callaway I've dealt with have all been absolutely fantastic, and the most helpful, friendly people around. I know it's wishful thinking, but I hope this doesn't mean these great people will be losing their jobs.
