Kind of a broad question. So many irons. So many players. Lots of folks starting like a hollow body design. Sub 70 699 series is a good affordable starting point if you want to buy new.

I've had this Rowenta irons for over 20 years. I'm pretty sure they are a German manufacturer. Quality has been great, unless they started having their products made in China recently.
