I know a right handed guy that putts lefty and he is a phenomenal putter.

When I have done some testing and got on quintek it shows my numbers are better right handed. For me the feeling is I'm using more bigger muscles putting right handed than left handed.

Still TBD but we will see.

I spent this morning looking at broomstick videos and a recent one prepared by Sam.  I never in my life, imagined being a broomstick putter yet here we are.  I'm keeping an open mind while wondering if it's something that could benefit me.  I have been stuck in the 30-34 putts per round range for a little while and sure, I statistically make only 1 3 putt per 3 rounds, I still have to wonder.

The other thing that's playing with my head is the inevitable release of a DF3.  It's coming, so I have to be patient.

If you're considering a broomstick, but a used one on eBay first to try it before dropping $500+ on a LAB. I'm thinking about it too, but won't get something fancy/new like a LAB until I know I like the putting style.

I had an old Odyssey Broom to become reacquainted with before I decided on spending the BIG bucks for the LAB.    After submitting a video using my old broom the fitter nailed my specs.  I took the LAB Broom to the practice green and it was love at the first roll. It felt so much smoother than my old putter and the balance was miles above what I've had in the past. It's not bulletproof as I've had three 3 putts and one 4 putt in six rounds of golf. The 4 putt was on a green that was cut too low and therefore no friction to slow the ball down. It must have been a 20 on the stimp meter.   With that said I've had more 1 putts in six rounds of golf than I've had all year with a conventional size putter. On #18 today I was 25 + out and drained it for a birdie. The guys watching us come in told me afterward I had to get rid of the Broom. Two of them are considering  a LAB and one said if he hadn't recently bought a new putter it would be on order.

Got my first round in with the LAB Mezz1.Max today. Overall, very pleased. Had 30 putts, which is down 5-6 putts from what I had been seeing in recent rounds. Had 2 birdies go in from 12 and 23 feet respectively. 
 

Also of note, these putters are built and marketed to go where you aim them. I didn’t really comprehend that until today. On 4 putts, I read either right edge or left edge. Stroked the putts and watched the ball hold those lines, right on past the hole. Looks like there will be more green reading practice in my future. The work continues, but I am encouraged.

Shortly after getting the Link, I realized my green reading was not as good as I thought it was lol. Now, it's really the only thing I have to blame.

Can't wait to hear how some of your future rounds go after getting some time with it.

I had three putts gently lip out yesterday as I was a smidgin offline with my read.

Thanks to the link @TSauer shared I think there will be a lot of folks on the fence making a move.  I priced a MEZZ max broom at $639 before the 20% off with an ACCRA black.  I dunno...I just dunno...

It'll likely be next year...too many big expenses upcoming it's difficult to commit $600 to an experiment...

I put in a lot of practice time converting from regular style to cross handed.  I use face balanced.  I recently, finally, went to a big fat grip, the super stroke pistol 3.0 tour.  I can't boast on-course numbers due to other factors (injuries, 68 yrs old!!!) but the grip is great, I do real well on the practices especially the 10 ft to 20 ft range.  I look at the hole not the ball once longer than about 7 ft putt.  My grip and style is pretty similar to Brian Harman, the hardest part was figureing out what to do with the front, low hand.  I put my index finger on the shaft.

Good deal - it took me awhile to get used to cross hand putting but I’m def a convert now. Hell, I may even pull a Fitzy and try cross-handed chipping next

OK, folks I've gone full LAB Broomstick mode. I have two short putters on Facebook Marketplace for sale.  A TaylorMade Spider X Hydroblast and an Odyssey White Hot OG 7S.  Once you go Broom the rest of your putters are doomed! I'm not sure if it's an age thing or the consistency I get from a Broom or both but it's definitely a comfort thing for me.

I am struggling.  I never thought I would go broom but here I am...watching Sam demonstrate the ease...watching good putters make the switch...watching poor putters see notable improvement.

I also know it'll be better for my back.  

11/22 is approaching...MEZZ.1 Max, Accra...79.5* at 47"...I just cant decide what color head to choose...

@bens197 It'll take a little time to get familiar with it but for me, it does make the hole look bigger. Once you get used to the basics with your grip and so forth, the only thing you have to blame then is your green reading, and no putter can correct that.   I might even consider one of those big ole space ship looking LAB Brooms.    Nawwwwww I'll stick with my Mezz Max.

It'll be the MEZZ Max...it would offer a great opportunity to practice my putting during the snowy months

I feel like its a miss to not go with something a little "out there".  Orange, blue, heck even, Pink?  Honestly, I wish they would do a gold color...I'd love to game that with a white shaft.

If anyone is looking to purchase a well-cared for Scotty Phantom 5.5, this may make my transition to a LAB much easier

Right now I am between red & platinum.  I already have a black MEZZ and I'd like something different...

 

 The cappuccino color is about as close to gold as you can get...

The pictures I've seen of the red, it doesn't seem to have that shine that the blue and platinum seem to have. Not sure that matters to you, it's just something I noticed from the tester who got the DF2.1 in red and it didn't seem to shimmer in the pictures.

Red's my favorite color, so I might do it anyway. But a more metallic red paint would be much better from LAB.

You can see a picture of the actual red on their used site. They have a lefty broomstick in red.  I have put it in the cart a couple times....  haha.

You can submit the fitting and I believe there is an option to purchase and say you need a fitting as well.
