I'm glad to be among other avid golfers!

A little bit about myself... I am in Sales, so I naturally, I love to play golf.  Any opportunity to get out on the course with a customer(s), I'll take it - it's the best way to get to know someone and see their demeaner under certain conditions.  Also, it's a great opportunity to let the world slip away and allows me a nice metal break from the everyday stressors. 

I'm from Western New York and a recent graduate of the PGA Hope program (amazing program for military veterans by the way).  Over the years I have been progressively chipping (pun intended) away at my handicap to achieve the title of Scratch Golfer - still got a ways to go.  I was introduced to this forum from another fellow PGA Hope Graduate, was very interested, and thought I would join other fellow addicts.

Here's what I've currently got in my bag:

Driver:   TaylorMade - R11s 

4 Wood:   Callaway - Big Bertha War Bird

     Irons:   4 - GW  Mizuno Pro 223 w/ Dynamic Gold 105

Wedges:   Lazrus 56 & Titleist Vokey 60

    Putter:  Ping Zing Blade

Rob, welcome into the MGS Forum!  Good to see you joined and you're already posting, that was a great PGA HOPE final session and really enjoyed the few holes we shared on course (and your cart driving left my kidneys intact in place so thank you very much!)

Just so you know, you are the first of countless people I have mentioned MGS to who has not only joined but also had the good manners to reach out and connect to let me know you're here   Derek

I see your still playing the club @Yellow Ball sent you. I wanted to try it at Pinehurst as well as the Lab putter but never got around to it.

Well then we are just going to have to get together and make that happen, no idea when but maybe there is another trip in the offing to visit my brother in Cary.  YB was right to give that to me and on Tuesday had my longest drive with it to date at 191 yards, only 19 yards shorter than the First Strike Rattlesnake 10* driver went on its best day.

I'm extremely thankful for the recommendation to join.  I joined as soon as I got back from the course!  A lot of good content on this forum.

Best part for me is I finally have a MGSpy member I can actually play with locally instead of driving hours to get to a tee time.  I think you will find if anything I understated what the Forum has to offer.  Glad to share the experience and benefits of membership

Is this where I introduce myself?  I’m Jim. Retired Bell Canada technician. Scratch to plus handicap, depending on course. Play only on days that end in Y. Usually a dew chaser. Nothing like fresh cut greens. Live in the “Great White North “ Ontario Canada. Walk the course and have a Full set of clubs.
