Haywood golf clubs, ami the only person in Britain who knows about these awesome looking clubs?

Just saw the testing request for Haywood golf clubs. I’ve been checking out their website and can’t believe how good these clubs look. Only problem is here in Blighty no-one has herd of them. Everyone I have shown them to has commented on how nice they look, but we can’t get them here at the mo so does anyone have any info or experience on how these feel and perform?

There are a lot of good YouTube reviews on them. 

They are relatively new and expanding, but the DTC market is a crowded one and lots of brands and names come out or not many know of.

In the UK with Sub70 having a fitting center and Caley being located there, add in Takomo not that far away in Finland I'm not surprised more haven't heard of Haywood - however we hope to change that!

Damnit! I’ve looked at these clubs. I wish I could test them but am in the middle of testing Callaway balls. Poop!

This (sorry) is a great example of or reminder notice that be sure to only sign up for those things that you are really excited for! There are a ton of opportunities and members can only be eligible for one at a time. 

That being said @Erin B we are thrilled to have you part of the Callaway ball test and you are rocking it so keep it up!

I have been following these for a while as with Sub 70 another lesser know brand in the uk but does have a fitting centre. There are a few reviews on YouTube about the Haywood Signiture Irons and the Cavity back. The lucky person who gets to try them where ever in the world won’t be disappointed

Good to see smaller companies putting great quality gear out there

@GolfSpy_APH I am grateful to be testing the Callaway ball. I have really learned what it takes to test and give a good look at equipment. I appreciate MGS confidence in me. I look forward to future testing opportunities. Since I have been a MGS I also enjoy the informal discussion and testing of equipment I have purchased. I have enjoyed reviewing the Newton shafts, Steadfast shafts, and my New Level irons. I also think that if someone isn't playing the BRNR mini driver they are missing out on a fantastic club. Being a tester and a MGS member has now gotten my spousal unit involved in at least looking at equipment and going to expos. If that were the only benefit of being a part of MGS than it's more than worth it because she used to hate golf. Who knows, maybe I might have a playing partner in the future! Thanks MGS!!!

I love my BagBoy bag I got to test but then other tests popped up and I have now despised I need to pick my opportunity carefully! But it’s so hard to not just apply to everything and just test my brains out! You know test my marriage! That kind of thing!

I usually get a fit check every year so I know my numbers. I did look at these clubs as well as others before I chose New Level. I am excited to watch the testing unfold.

Yeah, one never knows when an opportunity presents itself. In my case, I have a serious problem saying no to trying new things, like irons. I just can't help myself

I am the same I have changed the shafts in my irons 3 times already

We do sell within the UK/EU and we actually have a team member located in Northern Ireland who builds all of our UK/EU orders for us.

We might be coming to the london golf show (still undecided) but if we do, we hope to see you there!

Great news if you could get a base on the mainland, if they feel half as good as they look they will be world class. I’m mates with a few local pro’s, I wonder if they are aware of you yet?

I spoke with my Pro ages ago and he had heard of them and Sub 70

Interesting, sub 70 is a better known DTC brand for sure over here, but Haywood looks like it might be in a more premium bracket, the materials, manufacturing and finishing (apologies, as well as a golf nerd, I’m a NDT and metallurgical engineer by profession), as well as the shaft selection looks to put these in a class above. Although in Sub 70’s defence, I haven’t tried either, but have heard good things.

There is a post on you tube about Sub 70 fitting centre in uk worth watching if that helps. I am not % sure but they do a composite construction iron similar to other makers and a forged muscle back iron hope it helps

Haywood 100’s 1 block CNC milled the signature irons are similar to the P790 and the CB & MB clean lines to complement any Jones or Mackenzie bag on the wild links or any other course.
