Marking golf ball

Mizuno2

Recommended Posts

I've been playing a stash of 15 year old Slazenger Player 90's and 10 year old Pinnacle Exceptions with some new MG C4's mixed in. Haven't even thought of putting any marks on them since what are the odds someone is playing any of those these days besides me?

I guess if I start going with a more mainstream ball I'll need to come up with something.

I combined 2 marks because people I've played (like ol gray) used the circle, I switch to dot covering the number & had others do the same. So now its circle # & dot on other side of brand. Oh & ALWAYS blue

Yup. I like my balls marked with blue . I need to go ahead and pick up another blue marker pen. The one I have been using has been in my bag it seems like forever.

Black line over putting alignment, orange dot under the number with pink dots around it, and this stamp, because I'm still not mature at 36.

I play the Callaway Truvis so I rarely mark them.  I have only played with one other person who games them so it really is not a big problem identifying my ball.

They are the Chrome Soft, a great ball IMO.  I have been playing a sleeve of white ones that were given to me at a tournament for the past 3 rounds.  I only have one white left and it is pretty beat up so I will be playing my "soccer ball" again when I play Monday with ole gray.  I think you will be very happy with them foz and they don't require any identification when you drive up to it in your cart, you know it is yours.

Since I've been playing a Vision ball, there's no need to mark mine. I did recently play a Srixon XV, but since no one in the foursome played them, I didn't mark those either. I only mark mine if I'm playing a ball that could be confused for someone else's. If I have to mark mine, I generally put my three kids' initials around the number or brand name somewhere.

The ProTour V in Super Yellow. I've been testing balls for them all year and I've tried a number of the versions. The V is similar to an NXT Tour or an RXS as it doesn't have a urethane cover. The Super Yellow has me addicted to its color! I really don't like to play white balls anymore. I also really like the ProTour X ball which does have a urethane cover. It just doesn't come in Super Yellow yet... It's much better around the green, but from tee to green, I like the consistency of the V.

I put a red line in front of and underneath the number.  It reminds me I want to shoot in the red and get to negative numbers on the score card.  Too bad the ball doesn't listen  ;)

Must be a female ball.

I played against a guy in a match this summer and we both pulled out the red and white, so I switched to the yellow and black one.
