I just made it back from the dermatologist and according to him, it's it looks like Actinic keratosis. It's a scaly bump caused by if UV exposure and can turn cancerous in certain situations.
They numbed the spot and removed it to send off for a biopsy and I should know in a week or two what the results are.
For now, I have to keep it bandaged and put Vaseline on it.
Thank you all for the kind words and support.

I just heard back from ShotScope, I am impressed they got back with me so fast and that's great customer service.
They didn't mention that you could use manual tracking with the Connex, so I'm assuming it's not an option.
They did offer to send me a new putter tag to replace the one I lost and I'll be immediately gluing it on my putter.

Good morning everyone!
I'll start out by saying Happy Birthday to @Josh Parker! I hope it's a good day for you
Today is my dermatology visit so I'm up a little earlier than I wanted. The appointment isn't until 3, but I woke up to a buzzing mind and couldn't shut it off. That, and I'm only used to getting about 6 hours of sleep so the body gets a tad achy if I'm laying down too long.
It's going to be a good day, though. My wife and I are going to have lunch at our favorite Chinese restaurant beforehand. I need to stop at Academy Sports and see what wood they have for my smoker and hopefully they have some maple. Nummy.
I hope y'all have a good day!

I'm kind of bummed the Connex doesn't have replacement putter tags available, I lost mine. I hadn't committed to a putter to use so I had just put the tag in a button hole on my shirt to take my phone to in order to register the putts and have no idea where it got off to. I was planning on gluing it on once I chose a putter to use for the season.
I need to figure out how to manually tag putts on the course, if that's an option. If not, it's a pain to track the distance of every putt and enter them in after the round.

Good morning everyone!
It's looking like it's going to be a nice Sunday here after the rain and high winds yesterday. I was looking out my kitchen window this morning and saw the neighbors trash cans in his yard. At least they were empty.
@berkeleybobit's sounds like you had a good, relaxing day with your wife at the spa. I wouldn't take the massage therapists advice, I think she was a bit salty about the small talk and was getting back at you. Quit golf... Scoffs.
It's grocery day and I need to go pick up a battery for my lawn mower. I've also got to replace the innards of a toilet today, the water isn't going through the tube to fill it back up and it's slowly trickling down from the top of the valve.
I might try to get in a quick nine in the morning to relieve some stress before the dermatologist appointment tomorrow evening.
I hope you all have a great day!

I wouldn’t worry about the hat. You’ll probably buy one in Kingsmill to remember the occasion. It is your first outing after all.
I'm at least going to buy a ball maker or divot tool from the clubhouse, I didn't think about a hat. That's actually a great idea!

You ain't kidding, my wife and I were at Ross today looking for a hat to go with a shirt I bought a couple of weeks ago and we couldn't find one. I told her we still had time and she responded that it'll be here sooner than I think.
Looking at the countdown, it doesn't seem like that long ago we still had 90+ days to go.

I'm not seeing the 25+ handicap group in there but I can imagine it's going to be somewhere between 110-120 for me. At least I'll get my money's worth per shot.

I think I would like to see the Wilson Staff Model ZM wedges. It's good to see them getting into the wedge market and would make for a fun test.
Also, I would love to see a L.A.B. DF 3.1 test.

I don't know if in the given time frame I could par all 18 holes as there are two on my course that I can think of I haven't made par on in years of playing.
The first is the 10th, which I have mentioned a few times is my nemesis hole. I mean, I did par it once from the forward tees but for this I would play it from the whites or greens. I just don't get along with the tee shot.
The other is the 15th which is an uphill par 4 which plays about 410, I just can't reach it in two and give myself a chance to two putt for par.

Our middle of 5 children turns 14 today. I am not sure how that happened. Pretty sure that it is not right and she’s only 8.
Anyways, it’s time for coffee.
Happy birthday to your daughter, Alan!

I've been using the colored wood tees from Vice lately, I like having the markers on them to give me a more consistent height with the driver. I'll sometimes either break a tee off find a broken one when I tee off on a par 3.

Yeah even though it's all low cost ya better be careful in there - looks like a lotta fun stuff!!
I definitely have to be careful taking the wife in there, she might bankrupt me. It's a pretty fun time, I usually don't walk out of there with stuff, but the danger for me is the T.J. Maxx in the same plaza.

On a happier note, yesterday’s fitting was awesome! Learned, or should I say re-learned some stuff.
Now I just have to practice. Playing today so we’ll see how it goes. Happy birdie hunting and have a blessed day!
I'm glad to hear the fitting went well and you know it's a good one when you come out of it learning something.
Hopefully you'll hear some good news from the doctor new week about your wife. I hate they're making you wait, I know it's got to be stressful.

Good morning everyone!
There's rain in the forecast until the early part of the afternoon, so not much of going to happen this morning. My wife wants to get out later and run some errands and hit up Five Below. It should be fun, I always enjoy getting out and hanging with her.
I hope you all have a great day!

Good morning everyone and happy Friday!
I enjoyed the community call yesterday with Philip, he's always been a great guest and it's fun getting a peek inside Most Wanted testing.
It's a bit of a rainy morning here and it's going to be a wet weekend, but the work week is almost over. It's been a long one and it'll be nice to spend some time with the family.
@PapaGoose8, it sounds like you had a good time at Pinehurst and I hope you have a wonderful experience at Tobacco Road. That's a bucket list course for me even though I think it would eat my lunch. It's just so beautiful.
I hope you all have a good day!

I really enjoyed the call today, Philip is always a great guest and it's always interesting to hear what goes on in Most Wanted testing.
I was also on dog sitting duty tonight since my wife and sister-in-law have gone to an art club meetup, they get a bit of separation anxiety.

Thank you! Positive attitudes are paramount when things are going sideways.
It's crazy, isn't it? I guess that's part of getting a little older and for me, not taking as good of Care of myself as I should. Between the physical aspect of my job and playing golf, it can be rough on us. I'm still hoping they can get you straightened out. I hate seeing someone go through what you've been through.
I appreciate it!
You keep up working out like you are, age is just a number. I honestly wish I had the motivation to get in shape like you do, you're an inspiration!
