Good morning, new here found this forum while looking for reviews on some irons to upgrade to. Currently in rbz's.

Shot an 88 at rivers edge yesterday.

Welcome to the MGS forums and to the thread that will keep you busy all day! It’s like a part-time job on some days. 😂

Good morning Spies and Happy Friday!

I'm proud to say this is my 500th post on the Forum and it feels poetic that it's happening in this thread. This community has become a second home for me over the last nine months or so and I'm very grateful to be a part of it. Cheers to many more posts and years ahead!

Not much on the agenda today. Should be a pretty easy workday and I'll be checking out some of the Zurich on the side. Weather supposed to get rainy later on, but at least temps are starting to climb for the weekend.

I hope that everyone has a great Friday and if you're lucky enough to be golfing, hit 'em straight!

    Congrats on the milestone!!

Wow that's not something you'd ever expect to loosen! Did you check all the others, including the one for the shaft?

Also maybe back out those screws again, clean off the threads and the inserts, and apply your own thread lock?

I did check the others and they were all tight. Cleaning them and adding new thread lock is on my list of possibilities. Right now I’m keeping an eye on them to see if they loosen up again and how long that takes to happen.

  3. A little bit of a longish term update with a development with my Evnroll EV5.3.

While rolling some putts in the basement this past week I noticed that the putter felt a little off, like something was physically loose. Upon further inspection I found that the two screws holding the two pieces of the head together were indeed a touch loose which was allowing the back piece of the head to bounce when I moved it around. I removed the screws completely to check the threads and they looked fine. There looks to be a light coating of a threadlocker that appears to be white. It tightened right up and of course I will now be checking it regularly to see if and when it does it again.

Still absolutely love how this putter feels and I definitely feel confident standing over putts with it. I usually play multiple rounds per week and roll putts at home daily with it.

I’ve also updated my original review with this new information.

... should I even bother to mention I love my Capitals?! I think they are a +1600 to win the Cup. Let the festivities begin!

The more fans and teams represented, the better!! The Caps have a long road ahead but nothing is impossible. The LA Kings won the Cup in 2012 from the 8th seed in the West and they beat some tough teams to accomplish that.
