 If not for my location I would have been all in on this one. Intriguing concept, should make for some good reading

Huge thanks to Edel for making this test possible! The SMS irons were already good enough looking and then they had to come out with those Pros!

I’ve been following the reviews on these closely, and while they’ve been good there hasn’t been enough! I’m very excited to see that we will have some forum reviewers to really put these through the paces and show the rest of the golfing world what they’re really about!

Thanks to MyGolfSpy and Edel for the opportunity for some of our members to test the SMS irons. The testing session is getting off to an amazing start! This will be a fun one to follow and best of luck to everyone who applies.

These Edel irons are gorgeous. What a fab opportunity.  MGS is on a roll (pun intended).  The customized swing weighting intrigues me. Compelling reviews forthcoming, no doubt.

I wanted to try these out last time I got fitted but the spot I went didn't have them yet.... I've heard great things about them, and they look amazing! Can't wait to hear the "real world" reviews on the SMS.... 

I have an edel putter and I would love to try the irons. They are probably one of the best innovations in clubs in a while. I have multiple fitters close to me in Jacksonville, FL.  I'm looking to replace my PXG Gen1.

I'd love to test these but their stock shaft options don't work for me.

Their wedges are awesome, I can only imagine that their irons follow suite.

Love this opportunity. I have a fitter right down the road from my house that we play a weekly league in. These irons look fantastic and the information on them sounds fantastic

What an epic testing opportunity! The concept is so cool To be able to change up your irons similar to how you would to a driver. Definitely following this to see the results.

When looking on Edel’s website, the only option for the SMS irons are right handed. @GolfSpy_APH I saw the test is open to both but just want to confirm they have lefty options?

What shafts do you play?  I actually thought they have pretty good coverage with the options available right now.

I can’t wait to hear the thoughts of my fellow spies on these. The pros are definitely something I could see myself gaming at some point. Good luck everyone.

Huge opportunity here for MGS and Edel, anytime an iron set can be tested is a big deal, but these are something special. Since I'm currently gaming the ZX7's I'm really curious about the Tri sole design for turf interaction. It reminds me a little bit of the pre-worn leading edge of the MC502's from Miura. Fortunately for me there are a few fitting locations near me so fingers crossed I'm lucky enough for this opportunity but if not I will for sure be following closely.

I am a 5'7" woman and have used men's clubs my whole adult life as I've always found women's clubs to be too short and too light. I would really love the chance to give these irons a whirl out on the course. I often post photos of my golfing adventures and would be thrilled to show off these clubs on social media.

I will let @GolfSpy_BOS answer this as he is the contact for Edel on this and the mod who will be leading this test. I just get to post them because I live over here in Europe so they get out first thing in the morning!
