Brjpool
Has anyone had any experience with humidity and it's effects on clubs that are dry and stored? I have my clubs stored on an enclosed porch but we get alot of humidity during the summer and just wondering if I should move them inside to a cooler place Thanks Sent from my SM-G920P using MyGolfSpy mobile app Bryan Pool Ping G20 Driver Bombtech hybrids Ping G20 green dot irons/wedges Cleveland Huntington beach 6 putter

Badfish
If you clean clubs once a month real good and regrip once a yr, same results? I live in an area where the clubs get put away for months at a time. I had the misfortune of storing a set in my humid garage. My lack of judgement resulted in my steel shafts rusting. I imagine that if I had gone out every few weeks and cleaned them it would have prevented the outside of the shafts from rusting...but what about the inside of the shafts? Kenny B
Except when it gets over 100*, my clubs are always in the trunk of my car. You never know when a game might break out. But I live in the desert, so no rusting here. However, I did play for a week in Myrtle Beach in the rain during the summer, and when I got home my LW shaft snapped at the bottom of the grip on the 5th hole; rusted through. I brought the clubs into the condo, cleaned, dried and stored on the enclosed porch every night. If it hadn't been raining all day long, every day, I would have taken 3 showers each day!! I really hate humidity. “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”

revkev
Mine stay in my house but I also don't have a garage as it was converted to a fourth bedroom. I store all of my equipment in the house and only keep my clubs in the van when I'm going to and from the course. Like Plaid I do not leave them outside when I'm traveling either but I've also had my clubs stolen out of the trunk of the car once. That was a very sad day. I never played when the forecast was showers. That week in Myrtle Beach it rained all day, every day, and it was August so it was also hot. The water apparently collected where the grip meets the steel, and it never got dry. When it snapped, I had been considering reshafting with graphite, so it was a good time to do that with all my clubs. “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”
Kor.A.Door
Be careful leaving your clubs in the trunk of vehicles during the summer, especially when it is hot, I doesn't happen to everyone, but it has happened to people I know, where the continuous heat has weakened the epoxy to where a strike to the ball has broken the head free from the shaft. DB86
I used to leave my clubs in the back seat of my truck. Ended up having two different club heads twist on the shafts. Stopped leaving them in the truck and no issues since. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

MDGolfHacker
I store mine in the car. During the summer temps can spike in the high 90s low 100s. Nothing wrong with the clubs so far. When I was younger, I use to not keep the clubs long enough to matter. At one point, I think I was buying a new set every year and the driver was a revolving door.
