Red or Green driver shaft? - Edit: "if your driver was your light saber which color would you wield"?

Just a little poll here.

 

Favorite Star Wars movie? New stuff or Old?

 

I am liking the new stuff, but 4,5, and 6 are my favorites. 1,2,3... forgettable.

I think I know that guy in the picture.

 

I am blessed to have an older brother that grew up with and introduced me to the "original" trilogy, so #4 is my favorite. The Mickey Mouse investment has made for some great new movies and storylines. I can't wait to see what is next. However, absolutely nothing compares with the first Jedi mind tricks, the cantina band, or whether Han shot first.

 

I am biased for multiple reasons, but I'll take red all day long!

There is no first, only Han shot.

 

Also - Blue shaft and the original 4-6 hands down.  Didn't mind most of #3.  #7 was fun for the nostalgia but I hope they do a better job of advancing the story in 8 & 9.  I also really enjoyed Rogue One

Rogue One is actually my favorite SW film of all time, despite no real Jedi action.  Very, very closely followed by ROTJ and Empire Strikes Back.

 

Episode 3 was the only really tolerable film from the most recent trilogy.  Very much enjoyed Episode 7 and look forward to what they'll do with Episodes 8 and 9 and the stand-alone films.

 

As for driver shaft, gotta go with blue.

I didn't get to see R1 in the theater which is the only one I haven't, just watched it over the weekend. I agree, the Star Wars franchise is in good hands. Can't wait for the Han Solo movie.

 

 

As far as my driver shaft, I think the Nike Volt color would be good. Kind of a mix, could be a Jedi, but on a bad day might snap and be a Sith. Other than that I can't stand that color.

Green for my light saber (I'd use my Jedi training and the force and make those 30' putts).  As for the favorite Star Wars movie...I'd have to say ROTJ.  I hated 1 and 2 as Jar Jar Binks just annoyed me to no end, but seeing Yoda going All out during the battles was just awesome!

I rewatched 1-3 within the past year and they (1&2) were almost unbearable.  But the reward was seeing Yoda go off.  Absolutely a top Star Wars moment.

Skip the light saber and go with force lighting. Not sure what that does to your golf ball though.

 

I enjoyed Rogue One a lot even though it is not part of the 9-ilogy.

4-6 were the best. 7 was good but liked it better *spoiler* the first time it came out as #4.

I have no idea what the numbers are for each movie, but I remember going to the Wayside Theater, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, with my Dad, to see the ORIGINAL, first movie, Star Wars. Mannnnnn. I loved that movie! My Dad loved it too. He bought the VINYL album of the John Williams score to the movie and I would play it on the record player daily for weeks!!!

Is it a good movie now? It definitely lacks the CG that modern movies have, but it was, and always will be, the best Star Wars movie for story and plot line. Whatever the one with Jar-Jar Binks in it will ALWAYS be my least favorite. Worst character in a SW movie EVER!

 

So, shaft? Hmm. I love blue, but I also love emerald green! Tough to choose.

I like the original trilogy best. I like the story in the prequels, but the movies weren't made right. Currently, I am diggin' the newer movies. Haven't seem R1 yet.
