vagabon68
So this year I’ve decided to basically do a full bag turn over except my trusty Mizuno jpx ez 3 hybrid 2014. New equipment will be Sub 70 639 combo 6 and 7 CB 9-PW Mb. Tm 22 udi, and went with Harry Taylor 305 wedges adjusted to 49,53,57,61 along with a evnroll ev2. No idea on a driver yet since that is my nemesis. anyone else doing and most bag change over. bens197, PMookie, Shapotomous and 1 other
nprotz
I just went through this. I need to post some pics of my bag. I had some old Callaway X-forged irons (2007) that I changed out to some 2017 Apex Pros, swapped an old Taylor Made r7 TP 3w to a Sim Ti, swapped an old TM tp 3 hybrid to a Titleist TiS2 18* hybrid, swapped an old Scotty Studio Design 3.5 to a 2021 Odyssey Ten S, and lastly changed some older edges to Vokey SM 8 wedges. The wedges I went 50* F grind 8* bounce, 54* S grind 10* bounce, and 58* M grind 8* bounce. I haven’t swapped my driver yet but going to test a Radspeed. I think the other changes I made were good because the older clubs weren’t as forgiving but I don’t think the driver will do much for me. I’m hoping it will be more forgiving but I’ll find out soon enough. The biggest change is my 3w and putter. The new 3w is longer and straighter and the putter is so much more forgiving on mishits and sooooo much easier to line up. I feel so much more confident in my putting. BostonSal
Wow. Looking at my own post, some of the gear really is old. But all of it is still capable of playing better than I can. so I can't blame my mangled shots on the equipment. It's pretty decent stuff, actually. One uncle played with his 1954 MacGregor Tommy Armour woods and Wilson Staff DynaPowered irons right up until he couldn't play anymore. The first time he saw my late 70s Spalding Executive irons, he wondered for which particular sport they were made to play. Hoyoymac
Just put in a new set of irons. I really have been enjoying the Corey Paul wedges that I put into play last year. After looking for some possible replacements for my Titleist AP3 irons earlier this year I stumbled across a couple sets of Corey Paul cavity back irons on Ebay a while back. I played around with them a couple of months ago but wasn’t ready to put them in the bag. After changing grips on one of the sets and adjusting the lofts and lie angles I decided to try them again. After three rounds I’m looking forward to more. The shafts are KBS $-taper 120 gram stiff in the dark finish. vagabon68
so good news my sub70 639’s came in today. Bad news the pictures ones were supposed to be muscle backs. They are sending the replacements ASAP. The 6&7 are sweet and hit wonderfully. Can’t wait to get the proper 8-pw. Yet shout out to Sub70 customer service replied within minutes and had the expedited order within minutes after that. cnosil

In September: Looking to switch out 2014 Karsten 4H & 5H with Cobra One Length Hybrids - F9, Speedzone, or Radspeed (TBD) I don't carry FW woods so the only club that I'm not actively looking to replace is a CBX 60*.
