Is the only option here stroke-and-distance (19.2)

Please forgive my rudimentary drawing. The ball was hit over the green into some bushes.  There is a forest behind (no back-of-line relief).  There is no lateral relief because any point not closer to the hole is either in the bushes or (eventually) in the forest.

Is the only option here stroke-and-distance relief?

Could you not take an unplayable? I'm sure @DaveP043 will have the answer for us!

Going to assume that the ball is not in a penalty area so you option is to take an unplayable.

You have to find the ball to declare it unplayable, and even if it's found, it sounds like there's no legal drop available that wouldn't also be unplayable. Sounds like the only realistic option is stroke and distance.

I agree.  The way I understand the drawing, and assuming you find the ball, back on the line relief is in a bad place, 2 clublengths from the ball is a bad place, so stroke and distance is probably the only logical relief for an unplayable ball.  If that's a Penalty Area, S&D is still probably the best option.   If the ball is in a Penalty Area, you're not allowed to use the Unplayable Ball options.
