I've heard a few stories of guys doing things a little too early, and it never ends well, so I'm happy to sit on my butt and watch the Valspar

LOL I DID NOT say it did not hurt---- Truthfully after the second incident it did hurt and I stayed in bed 3 days and got by with a little help from my old friend Jim Beam. Also I was probably younger than you when I did it. I was only 23 with one kid divorced and did not want any more

But seriously, we just "had" our second child (he was adopted), so I got the procedure done just in case (we wanted two kids max).  

 

Good advice @GolfSpy_BOS - I'll take that to heart!

I forgot to buy it, but luckily had a sports ice pack (with wrapping), so was able to mush that into an appropriate shape

I'm a little less than a month out, and it's as if I never had the procedure at all based on comfort level and day to day functionality. 

Fwiw, DEFINITELY get the scrotal support (very accurately named. Also acceptable: nut-hugger, lift-n-swaddle, up-n-outta-the-way, ballz-bff, etc) - bunch of people here had never heard of this, but it was the ONLY way I didn't hurt for the first week after the procedure. Plus, it's VERY flattering (it's really not).

And congrats on the 2nd!!!  Love adoption stories - some of my best friends adopted years ago and it was a genuinely magical experience to be involved in any way.

I can second this. I have them for everyday wear because they see the best but it was HIGHLY more comfortable with them on during the day.

Long story short - it was JOURNEY at nearly 2.5 years and tons of ups and downs (along with the massive $$$ investment). Regardless, we wouldn’t have changed any of it.   This little dude came from a really tough situation but we are so blessed to have him!

i blame the surgeon who yelled (and this is NOT a joke), “We’ve got a BLEEDER!!!!” after he sprayed my leg with the anesthetic he’d just stabbed my sac with. Umm…I love a good joke maybe more than the next guy, but…too far, bro. Too far.
