Hhsballcoach
I game an Evnroll EV2 at 35.5in. I really like the putter but I am still a bit streaky and considering going to a counterbalanced mallet. What are you guys thoughts on the odyssey models vs the spider models? Or maybe even jumping on the L.A.B train? I really want to keep a plumbers neck hosel, so I’m considering doing the Scheffler version of the spider in a 38in model. Thoughts and opinions are appreciated! GG194
Have been playing a few years now and have an idea about what works for me. Have used a lot of different styles of putters and the Anser style seems to work well for me and the ER2 by Evnroll sets up better than anything else I’ve used. Big moose
Odyssey sabretooth trimmed 1 inch with a super stroke slim 1.5 grip, I wanted the heavy model but they didn't have one so I kept adding lead tape until I got the weight where I wanted. Ever since I got this putter this is the best part of my game, if I miss a putt it's usually a miss read on my part because the ball is going on my intended line. This putter will never leave my bag and it was only 69.00 brand new. Quote Frank musolino

Captain3484
I got fitted for a putter almost 2 years ago (my first time ever getting fitted for a putter). I got fitted because my putting when down the drain and I could not get it back...the confidence was shot. I found out that I was consistently leaving the face open through impact, which would make sense because the majority of my misses were short and right. I got fitted into the Evnroll ER10 Outback - at first it was great but I quickly realized, due to it having a softer face than most putters and what I was used to, distance control was a constant struggle after 30+ years of putting off feel. I ended up selling this once the LAB DF3 came out because I contacted my fitter and he said that if the DF3 existed when I got fitted, he would have put me in that. I will tell you if you want to have a very accurate and sometimes depressing gauge of how you are at putting, LAB putters are going to tell you real fast. They go where you line up, so if you miss a put, it is completely on you and your setup. Has helped me tremendously work on the aspects of my putting that I can adjust instead of having to worry about open/close of the face. I myself have gad probably 15 over the last 5 years. I find myself being a putter snob. I really enjoy old generation Scottys before they added removable weights. Those have the best feel to me and they are milled from one solid piece. Old Studio Designs were the best. I'm not into collecting I like to game everything. I am currently gaming a 2019 Copper Spider X. It was one of those putters I always liked the feel but never bought one situations.
