Built a Rickie recently. Jailbird 7 OG, 38" SS grip, around 375g

I did the same with an Oworks Mini, went to 40” though with a super stroke fatso 3.0 and versa scheme. Also went with a short hosel for a little toe flow. Curious how you’re at 375g though, I’m sitting around ~640g unless that’s your head weight?

Really nice putter though.

I like golf. You should like golf. If life is tough, play more golf!

Callaway Paradym Triple Diamond 10.5, Graphite Design Tour AD-MJ 6x

Titleist TSr3 18 Degree, Graphite Design Tour Ad-DI 7x

Takomo 301CB's, KBS Tours 120S

Vokey SM8 48 10F, 52 08F, 56 08M, 60 08M

Odyssey O-Works Jailbird Mini, Versa Scheme, 17" Fatso 3.0 Grip, 40"

I game an Evnroll EV2 at 35.5in. I really

like the putter but I am still a bit streaky and considering going to a counterbalanced mallet. What are you guys thoughts on the odyssey models vs the spider models? Or maybe even jumping on the L.A.B train? I really want to keep a plumbers neck hosel, so I’m considering doing the Scheffler version of the spider in a 38in model. Thoughts and opinions are appreciated!

Have been playing a few years now and have an idea about what works for me. Have used a lot of different styles of putters and the Anser style seems to work well for me and the ER2 by Evnroll sets up better than anything else I’ve used.

I currently game a Cleveland HB soft 2. Super soft on the face with some deep milled CNC lines in the face. Mallet style with a super stroke grip is what gets me dialed.

I'm a shockingly average putter at best so I have a rotation.

Louisville Amby-Dex (old Wilson replica)
Tad Moore Chicopee (old Spalding replica)
Ram Zebra
Never Compromise Z/I Alpha II
Acushnet Bullsyeye Flange
Ping Zero 4
Otey Crisman 16-B
Frankly Frog
Yes! Stacy

and TWO brand new ones.
Ping PLD DS-72
Bell II 410.

I putt pretty much the same with all of them, however.
There is no magic putter for me.

Acushnet Bullseye HB (Heavy Blade) with original green rubber grip.

Replaced LAB 45" Mezz.

Going back to a simple implement with a "put ball in hole" philosophy.

👍 so far.

After retiring from the PGA of America, I did some demo days and club fitting for various OEMs.

Odyssey sabretooth trimmed 1 inch with a super stroke slim 1.5 grip, I wanted the heavy model but they didn't have one so I kept adding lead tape until I got the weight where I wanted. Ever since I got this putter this is the best part of my game, if I miss a putt it's usually a miss read on my part because the ball is going on my intended line. This putter will never leave my bag and it was only 69.00 brand new.

I’ve “officially” swapped the Bettinardi Queen B 6 for the Scotty Golo 6, 37” and I couldn’t be more pleased.  That half moon shape just suits my eye much better.

I got fitted for a putter almost 2 years ago (my first time ever getting fitted for a putter).  I got fitted because my putting when down the drain and I could not get it back...the confidence was shot.  I found out that I was consistently leaving the face open through impact, which would make sense because the majority of my misses were short and right.

I got fitted into the Evnroll ER10 Outback - at first it was great but I quickly realized, due to it having a softer face than most putters and what I was used to, distance control was a constant struggle after 30+ years of putting off feel.  I ended up selling this once the LAB DF3 came out because I contacted my fitter and he said that if the DF3 existed when I got fitted, he would have put me in that.

I will tell you if you want to have a very accurate and sometimes depressing gauge of how you are at putting, LAB putters are going to tell you real fast.  They go where you line up, so if you miss a put, it is completely on you and your setup.  Has helped me tremendously work on the aspects of my putting that I can adjust instead of having to worry about open/close of the face.

I’m currently using a SeeMore Black MiniGiant. I have gone from a PXG Bat Attack, to a Ping Anser, to a TaylorMade Truss, to the SeeMore. I’m liking the SeeMore the most.

Hello all!

I wanted to start this to just talk about putters. This seemed like the perfect place. I myself have gad probably 15 over the last 5 years. I find myself being a putter snob. I really enjoy old generation Scottys before they added removable weights. Those have the best feel to me and they are milled from one solid piece. Old Studio Designs were the best. I'm not into collecting I like to game everything. I am currently gaming a 2019 Copper Spider X. It was one of those putters I always liked the feel but never bought one situations. It took me a while to find one not chipped and scratched up but it is working out well for me.

EVNROLL ER10 ("Outback")

7W (if played) - Titleist TSR, ACCRA TZ6 7S

Irons - Cobra King Forged Tec X, KBS TGI graphite shafts

Wedges - Edison 2.0, 47* (bent to 48*), 53* and 57* (bent to 58*), KBS TGI 100 Tour S

Putter - Evnroll ER10 ""Outback” Mallet

Spoiler

Lots of short game practice has made this a strength; now the driver is causing problems!
