Then I tested a SIM 2 Max for about two months and it was very good for distance (260-280 vs 250-270 average yards). But I switched back to the ping since I prefer the straighter flight, and the dry summer conditions get me plenty of extra yards anyways. Currently I'm using a LTDx I got in mid August and it seems to be a good balance between extra distance and straight flight. Woods: I started off with a C722 3 wood that I got a good deal on around Christmas, but I didn't like it and switched back to my old XR 5 wood after a vey short time. Still using the Callaway. Hybrids: Still using an Idea 4H that I've had for 5 years. Irons: Early in the year I switched from to C722s that were on sale for $500. Wedges: I'm still using a 60 degree DCI plus a 52 and 56 degree Harmonized. I've had them all about 3 years. Putter: I've had a Infinite Michigan Avenue putter for a while and I'm still using it. As long as my SG with putter is still positive I'll keep using it. Balls: Triad was my "go to" for a while, but after some testing I'd now choose a Chrome Soft over it. Bag: Same Bag that I've had for 5 years. Shoes have stayed the same, hat is now Meritage Homes though (I dont work there it's just a local non-official deal). Here's my setup for this year so far: Driver: Titleist, Ping Woods: Taylormade, Titleist Hybrid: Titleist, Ping (driving iron) Irons: Mizuno Wedges: Titleist (Vokey) Putter: Taylormade, Titleist (Scotty Cameron) Ball: Titleist, Taylormade, Bridgestone Glove: Footjoy Bag: Sun Mountain Shoes: Under Armour, Jordan Range Finder: Callaway Very happy with my current setup. If I were to change anything in the near future I'd probably get fitted for new irons since I've been using mine for several years now. They're still in great shape though, so I'm in no rush.
