Wedge guys Grips

Recommended Posts

Has anyone ever used the Wedge guys grips?

Looking to get a set for my edges since they are all different grips (bought most of them used). I am looking to get the midsize diamond grips put on my wedges.

Anyone have any input on these?

First I’ve ever seen them. The dual texture and fun colors have potential to appeal to golfers…especially with the lower price than popular segment leaders.

  • PING G400 LST Mitsubishi Tensei White 60X
  • TaylorMade SIM2 3 wood Fujilkura Ventus Blue 7-X
  • Titleist U505 2 Tensei 1K Black 85 X
  • Titleist T100 4-P Nippon Modus 3 120X
  • PING S159 50-S 55-H 59-T DG X100
  • L.A.B. MEZZ Max Broom Accra 47" 79.5*
  • Srixon Z-Star XV

Currently testing the 2024 PING S159 wedges…

Was testing, still loving the 2023 Titleist T100 Irons 4-P

Oh I really like the dual colors there. Could also be a good hand placement indicator for when hitting a choke down shot or something like that

Yea, i have one from a Callaway Jaws wedge that my uncle gave me. I really like it so i was planning on getting them all done mid size. Just not sure of the longevity of these since i only have it on a 56 degree that i used for a few weeks. Way cheaper then the golf pride ones i have on my irons.

wow i didn't even consider that aspect of these lol. I liked the multi color so i can always distinguish my wedges to anyone else so i don't accidently grab someone else around the green.

Preferring to play without a glove,

only wrap-type grips are comfortable for me.

I have matching wrap grips  on everything but putter.

And actually, my hickory shafted putters have wrap grips as well,
but they're on furlough right now.

My hybrids have wrap grips on them and I like them for that. Reminds me of my baseball bat grip. I tried them on a buddies iron and I wasn't a fan. Not sure why.

I use a copperfit glove on my left hand. Its nice because its a solid grip, kind of like a leather and rubber hybrid. And on the top side of it its all porous breathable material so my hands not drenched in swat on those hot days.
