I am interested in the link to not sure if I will swap over to it but still interesting. Was secretly hoping for them to come out with a secret black snakebite wedge option.

I am leaning #TeamChad at this point as well but waiting for the smack talk like @Wedgie. Anticipating for it to pop off right before the first competition then I can officially choose!

Gee, you picking the same side as @B.Boston is a real shocker to us all. So for the record Team Chad has two New England Patriot/Tom Brady loving JV Squad followers on the team. Anyone else really want to be part of that?

  2. It's a love fest in here. What happened to the good old days of smack talking?

I'm jumping on the Team Yags ship and will follow along as they roll to an easy victory.

Really curious to see how @LeftyMatt89 performs with the one lengths and how @jlukes clubs compare to his high level fitted clubs. In fact, how would you compare the level of fitting you received for the CCC5 to your current gamers?

My boys woke me up at 5:30 this morning... About an hour before their normal wake up... And by 5:32 I was dressed and ready for my fitting. I've still got another 4 goes until the fitting but I'm pumped and ready.

I will say I'm tapering my expectations for the fitting since I've yet to see decent demo options for a lefty. I just hope to hit something in left hand and go from there. I have a few shafts I'd like to try but who knows what club heads will be available. I bet a few clubs will be ordered without ever hitting them... But I've done it before and it's worked out pretty good.

Honestly I've been to some Cobra demo days where they didn't have a lot of righty options to hit especially in one length. I hope it works out and you get to hit just about everything they offer.

I wish they had been open in 2019!  About a month ago.  Not sure how big the market is on single-lengths.... might be worth a call to see if they're still there.

I want to go stop by there soon, I'll take a peek and let you know if they're still there if I do.

Great, ask the sales guy if variable lie angles are needed on the one lengths when all clubs are swung between 81-82 MPH? If he cannot answer that ask how much toe droop each one length shaft has when swung at these speeds. If he can't answer that then walk away.

Ha. Yeah, I tried really hard to love my SpeedZone one lengths, but I just could not get the 9i thru GW figured out. ☹️ Went back and forth on doing the 4-7i in one lengths, and 8-GW in variable lengths ... but moving back to variable lengths in a full set

Currently awaiting a custom order on Ping’s G425, and at week 6 since the order. Once I get em, the Cobra’s will be on the buy/sell/trade page.

Recently I went in the opposite direction. The 8-SW are money for me. It is the 5-7 that give me trouble so I went variable length with those. Problem with that is I hit everything fat with the variable lengths after hitting the one lengths.

  6. My single length 6 iron swing speed in around 82 MPH with my 60 gram graphite shafts and when I'm right fairly neutral transition. At club champion I was looking for new shafts for my ones lengths and only hit the 6 iron. When I went up 10 grams in shaft weight my swing speed dropped about 1/2 MPH. As we kept adding weight in roughly 10 gram increments that trend continued. As we added weight my smash factor continued to go up so I was actually hitting the ball farther with more weight and a slower swing. My sweet spot ended up being 95 gram shafts and although I was down to around 80.5 MPH I was hitting the ball about 7 yards farther than the 60 gram shafts because I was so much more consistent in hitting the center of the face.
