Ugh. Totally out of line. Those guys are lucky she took it that well because she’d have a good case against them if she wanted to go down the legal road.
at a minimum I’d have a hard time inviting them back to my club, even with a loaded tournament.

Today was the last day of Jackson’s golf camp so and I was able to get a range session in while they were off at the other end of the range doing a putting competition.
Once again I went through a pretty good warm up with chips/pitches/wedges and some irons shots to make sure I felt good and loose before making my way up to driver.
I’m starting to feel the differences between the Ventus and Motore X F3 and today was a good example. I was coming across everything a little bit (I’ll blame the fact that I was at the right edge of the range hitting to the left back of the range to make sure I didn’t hit into the kids at the putting green on the back right of the range’s short game area (the main putting green is still closed for repair).
BUT the Ventus was the clear winner today. I was just feeling the club better with it, and I was finding the center!
I set myself up to hit 3 consecutive shots each with the Ventus and then the Motore X.
My aim was for the last tall pine in the range on the left hand side, with the Ventus I hit all three just to the right, which would have easily been in the fairway. Two gentle fades and one push draw all within a good landing area. Very pleased!
The Motore X drives after were not nearly as good today. Blocked them out right, and even had a few bad swings in there. I’ll shoulder that blame as they were bad swings, but the Motore X may be a bit too active feeling. If I’m in a groove like I was on Wednesday it was awesome and felt effortless to get some speed out of it. But if I’m off a touch I think the extra stability in the Ventus was helping today.
More testing to come there, I’d love to get some real numbers on them. It seemed today that I was getting more launch out of the Motore X, but that might have been from a more open face.

Awesome unboxing video @gavinski91! Glad that you got your irons and wedges in now. One step closer to the games beginning.
The Radspeed irons look like the blend fairly well into the snakebite wedges too. It's always interesting to see how the GI irons look down at the wedges when you're playing a more traditional shape wedge.

That's some impressive gapping!
Thanks! The forged Tec irons fit me really well. Just goes to show that sometimes stronger lofts are good (which was something I was really concerned about going into #CC4). I know my gapping wasn't nearly as good with my old 714 AP2s, particularly around the 5 and 6 irons and hybrid slot.

Happy Birthday @GolfSpy Barbajo!
hope it’s a great one!

I expect this will be in the Mevo+ Or Skytrack price range. What I’m more looking forward to learning about is what it offers in the simulator side and what the subscription looks like.
ive always said I want a home sim in the next house, seems like this could be great competition for skytrack too

Seems I’m right in line with that I should be seeing based on the Red 7 grouping. My total numbers are a little longer than the carry+roll they show, but I’m also not stoping my 7 and 6 iron within 6 feet most of the time. Also I’m sure that my 6 iron being 182 vs this chart showing 175 total has more to do with the loft of my irons than my efficiency with them. You can also throw me in the don’t make a full swing with wedges group. My max 60* is probably closer to 80 than 90…. But even my max is prob closer to a 3/4 with them.
This is a cool chart and one I saved. Hopefully I’ll pick up some more speed and can re-check my numbers after to make sure I’m still in line!

This is the other difference between the PlaneMate and Monte's teaching. The PM protocols for followthrough require a hinged trail wrist through impact. In the NTC video Monte teaches that in the Cast B to 12 o'clock the trail wrist must lose flex. If you do that with the PM, it definitely results in the long green band on the other side of the forearms. Martin Chuck says that's bad, but he never explains why. I personally don't see that as a problem. I can do it the PM way or the Monte way and still have a good strike on the ball. I am leaning towards Monte's method.
So, the takeaway and the followthrough are different, but the PM is very useful for me to work on Monte's Cast A to 8 o'clock and impact.
I like the planemate follow through feeling, as it seems to help me with some consistent pitch and 3/4 shots.
but I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to take a full swing without that band crossing over.

Good bit of info thanks for sharing. I hadn't noticed that.
It almost makes me wonder if they're using the same heads and adjusting the hosel bore for the loft/lie on the different loft models. A few generations ago they only offered one "loft" head in each model.

I wonder if Cobra and other companies might change it up for various models more. Like Callaway, the Max LS is two degrees flatter than the most forgiving Max option knowing most better players need low spin and prefer not to go left. So the RAD could easily be 1 flatter I feel.
You’re basically correct, but they do it based on loft.
the 9* heads for the Radspeed and Radspeed XB come with 57.5* lie angles while the 10.5* heads are 58.5*. 12* is another degree up at 59.5*.

Okay everyone we and by we the developer has made some of the changes we requested and I am sure is working on more as I write this!
To mark off the check list of requested items
Photos bug, all comment photos appear at top of the page- FIXEDReactions (likes and such) for testers reviews - FIXED so please go like all their reviews!
Signatures - Will show for testers in review at the moment - Partial FIX (honest question do we need them in the actual comment section)
Mentions bug (brings to the bottom of review page not where mention or quote is) - Tested and FIXED
Secondary Tab- What we have asked for is a separate review tab. After the testing is closed that comment tab will close as well. The review tab will then open up when we have announced testers.
Showing in recent content - At the moment the streams "default" to not selecting the tests box, I am searching and trying to find the way it will default to all content and therefore show up without having to create stream or adjust any of that and this will then solve the issue where people who use recent content and it not showing up and missing out on it.
Testing Opportunities header - This along with reviews header is something we are looking at as to how to reorganize it to make it simpler and more clear. Because the new testing runs separately it will be a bit different, but we will continue to brainstorm ideas and see some of these changes soon to just make it simply better.
My Spelling and Grammer: TBD hehe
If any of this is not showing for you please let me know.
Thanks for the update and effort to get a lot of these bugs resolved.
While I'll miss seeing my calves (3 times no less!) every time I go to read updates on the Callaway Epic driver testing thread it sure is nicer to get taken right to the content you were trying to get to!
Also feels good to acknowledge the effort testers have put into their intros or reviews and show them we are reading even if we're not actively commenting in a test.

Today was another range day, and initial testing between the Ventus and Motore X.
Two side notes:
- LOVE what I'm seeing from the Epic Max LS with both shafts. This is from yesterday, but I saw a lot more like this today
- TSi3 Hybrid now has my KBS Hybrid Proto shaft in it (swapped with the Speedzone Hybrid) and it feels great. I'm still getting plenty of height on the shots so now I just need to dial in the loft settings to get the right distance.
I hit some balls that deserved to go screaming left that would have held on to the edge of the fairway or stopped in the rough.
For the Ventus vs Motore X man oh man I'm going to need some time, and hard numbers to decide. They both feel great in different ways. I'm going to start a thread and share my thoughts and comparisons between them. I was hitting both really well today.

Happy Birthday MPR! Hopefully you're out enjoying a round with Kirke... and he's not beating you yet!

I wasn’t sure how well my Tour Length Ventus from my Speedzone was going to match up with the Epic Max LS head, so I picked something up to try out..
Looks like it’s time for a proper shootout between these two!

Jackson has golf camp this week for an hour each morning, which luckily for me means a bucket of balls each morning.
I was very excited to hit my Epic Max LS with my Ventus now that the tip was changed out. (For those interested it plays 1/2 inch longer than the Cobra Tour Length due to the difference in tips, so this is right at 45 inches now).
BUT I did restrain myself and worked my way up to driver which was a good idea because I was pretty stiff this AM.
I think the Ventus is going to be a great combination as I was stoking the ball today. This is at least 7-8 ball marks:
I’m not going to complain about that!
I do have a Motore X F3 that should be here today To try as well, but it looks like the Ventus isn’t going down without a fight. -

Sending now, thanks so much and first time getting lucky on something like this so pretty pumped. I will be sure to share what emerges from the mystery box.
Whoa! congrats man. But with this whole mystery box business I really figured @Golfspy_CG2 was just grabbing a random box from this office that he hasn't had time to open and sending them out!
Looking forward to seeing what HQ has put together for you.

I’m still using mine basically daily during conference calls. It’s a great way to keep my back loose while working the pitching motion. now if I take a club even first thing in the morning, and practice pitching I still feel like I have it on.
I need to do more full swing practice with it though.

Congrats on the Ace!
I know a few courses near me that have a plaque on the wall for members who have scored an ace, but I don’t recall if it included any non-members.
More importantly, you owe all your buddies a round at the bar!

DJ using a SIM, Not a SIM2 Today. Not sure if that’s what he’s been using this year or not. I know he’s jumped between standard and Max models before too.

Definitely giving this a big follow. Looking forward to seeing what you can do!
I'm confident that this is going to be a great follow and you'll be making some solid gains in your game soon. It's never easy when you find yourself stuck in a rut but you'll work your way out of it.
As others have said, start with those basics of grip and alignment and then see what's going on from there.
We'll be here along the way to hopefully not give you bad advice and watch the progress!
