To celebrate the 22 Open Champions who have triumphed at St Andrews, 25 gold-plated putters have gone on sale from The Old Course shop.

 

Each putter has the name of all of the St Andrews champions engraved on the sole as well as the official St Andrews Links logo engraved on the toe face of the putter.

 

The heads are cast in phosphorous bronze and heavily gold plated, as are the shaft, collar and cap, and they are also fitted with a quality leather Gripmaster grip.

 

The putters can be bought from www.standrews.org.uk/shop/Golf-Gifts-Other-Gifts.aspx and are available for £1000.

I was a little surprised, too. With limiting it to 25 putters, I was expecting...$5K?
