Yeah, I saw Billy H doing his little dance to reflect the wavy green conditions......very childlike.

 

Heck, our greens were pinched while we were in Kissimmee last week. Some of them are already great, others are very bumpy. Yesterday I could not put them, but today I could.....did I do a little dance to protest the green conditions?.......NO

Since the Masters is an invitation only tournament, I would love for the Masters to lose Billys invitation next year

So JB missed the green from 91 and Spieth leaves himself a 15 footer for birdie right under the hole.

He was doing it in the round. That's where the line was drawn. Plus afterwards he came off like he's the best putter and the greens were to blame for why he wasn't leading.

There is a right way and a wrong way to voice one's opinion, I happen not to agree with it, but he has a right to voice it!

I do think that the Masters can refuse to invite anyone they want even if a player "qualified" and got an auto invite (maybe not?, thought I read that somewhere when all that TigerGate stuff happened) It will never happen but hope something happens to give him an attitude adjustment

 

I was at the Valero Open 4 years ago or so and Billy was playing with Lee Janzen. This is when none even knew Billy (I didn't) and he was posturing and complaining strutting around and Lee Janzen very loudly to the crowd said something to the effect" Boy this guy thinks he is something else doesn't he" (he used a little more profanity) and everyone laughed. I will disagree with you. The course was very typical of USGA events. You know going in that there will be little fair about it and their rarely is, it's the guys who ignore the circus that prevail. For the USGA it is about the head game.

 

In regards to Horschel you are right. He doesn't answer to me and he has a right to say what he thinks. I have a right to root against him and even though I wouldn't to heckle hi when I'm at Cooperhead next year so long as I don't do so while he is hitting a shot.

 

I think I will hire that guy from Happy Gilmore to do it.

 

If the course is so bad how do you explain that it's the top players who are playing at the top of their games that are leading? I'd think the Andy North wins would be the more difficult to explain and those came on traditional US Open venues.

I want DJ to win but kinda hard not to root for Day. I would think it would be best for Day that his caddie tees the ball, picks up tee, ball etc with his Vertigo so he doesn't have to get out of balance. I know the officials said it is legal for his caddie to do this but I guess they have discussed this and decided against it

I like Geoff Ogilvy comments that this would be the easiest US OPEN to win because 90% of the players have already taking themselves out of it by complaining. Jack used to say that when he heard pros in his day complaining about a course that he knew he didn't have to worry about them because they had already taken themselves out of it
