Okay just back from a very mi pec round of golf. We are having a really cool event. Throw $10 in, play the tips but with the Temp greens. That makes the course 6200 yards long. The greens are miniature but the cups are 8 inches. Full handicap so my 76 was a 69 4.0 from our tips gets 7 strokes. At the end of the day the pro will blind draw a guy playing in the US Open to be paired with each one of us, his score gets added to your score winner take all,ties split the pot. We had 30 entrants when I left and I shot the second lowest score net of those posted thus far.

 

So are there any low rounds on the course today?

Dude on Fox is throwing shade on Billy H for his "unfortunate antics". He does make a point... USGA always talking about sustainable courses... and the pros don't like that it's different than what they are used to playing.

Idk, I love it, but it doesn't work half the time and there are periods where I don't think it totally captures the shot.

It's strange because Fox are part of the same group as Sky right? But Sky are fantastic at covering sport - they spend plenty of time explaining the host broadcaster is on a break or just plain mucking around.

I downloaded the USGA app. It's not free to get score rulings but saved me in the tournament from waiting on a rules official. In fact, he looked at me afterwards and said I saved him from having to look it up.

US sports coverage vs British sports coverage. The US loves to tell stories everyone who cares about the sport knows. Fox is right now talking about the Seahawks while Rory is on the second. Who cares?
