ole gray
Heading out shortly for our Thursday group . I've got my old Callaway Razr XF irons back in the back as they were hawt Tuesday. The Ping G irons have been lack luster for me after a good start. I'm thinking it's the AWT 2.0 steel shafts that I am having issues with. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy Honestly I should have listened to you and kept the Titleist AP1 714 irons with the graphite shafts. They were fine clubs. The Pings are no doubt solid irons and I should probably keep them around for at least a year. Will I do it, probably not. I have the hawts for some Steelheads....... dhartmann34
Well I was going to play this morning... But then my phone calendar went off and I have a golf lesson at 2pm... Which is an hour and 15 minute drive... So instead I'll hit some balls before I head on down there... Which is actually better because it's been raining and instead of having my lesson tomorrow like I thought... I'll just play golf instead in the warmer, sunny weather coming tomorrow. ole gray
Good luck, and let us know how it goes! MDGolfHacker I sucked like an Electrolux on steroids! Shot a 94 however I can't blame it on the new irons. My driving was horrendous. I pulled my jumbo grip off and put a midsize on and the club kept twisting in my hands. My driving was the worst of 2018 by far. The funny thing is I have been hitting it (really solid) up until today. I was hoping with the smaller grip I would be able to generate more clubhead speed..... Wrong ..... Goes to show how important it is to get off the tee in decent position..... pulledabill
Played 18 this morning, then home for yard work and pool cleaning, then back out by myself for another 18. Second 18 was am 88...still struggled off the tee and short iron play was horrendous!! Almost laughable actually as I took more penalty stroke my last 3 rounds then I have all year.
