MattF
Had the same thing happen to me. Two day shipping turned into a week shipping with prime turned into a call. Oops, sorry they say, must of gotten lost in the shipping. They immediately refunded my money and I re-order the item. The second time, the item arrived within the two day prime promised time. A day later, the first package arrived. Now I have two exact same presents for my son. Called Amazon but they said it was already noted as lost so consider it a freebie (it was a $20 remote control helicopter). I guess Amazon knew I'd need a second copter. The first one lasted three days before my son accidentally stepped on the landing gear, LOL. MDGolfHacker I ordered 4 things, all from Amazon, not a third party. 1 got here Friday in the mail, the other 3, yesterday. TheWahoo
It's crazy how our pets are almost like our kids. They are every bit as much part of our families as our kids and loved ones. I think it says volumes about the kind of person you are,the way you feel about your pets. Because my wife and I never had children, our dogs have always been child substitutes. I take comfort knowing that all dogs go to heaven, because it wouldn't be heaven without them. While I obviously have no memory of it, I have been told that I was babysitted by a dog. Our yard was basically how much of the field was cut. When I was a toddler, I would be put in the yard with the dog. The dog knew how far I was allowed to wonder away and when I reached that point, the dog herded me back to the house. cksurfdude, silver & black and ole gray

Right before the scraper approached me my dog (Butch) pushed me in the ditch and was hit by the scraper. No doubt he saved my life. AH1980MN
I'm a little late to this, but I thought I'd share my two cents. I remember all of my old dogs very well and fondly. Snoopy saved my Mom from a copperhead in Alabama once and Hudson was my pal through thick and thin. After Hudson lost his leg he didn't slow down a bit and lived to be 10 years old (beagles don't live that long) when he died. I am not over their loss, and I don't expect to be (thanks, Garrison Keillor) but I cherish every memory of them that floats through my mind, and I thank God for letting me know them all. I checked in the pro shop, cart barn, and teaching center and no 8 iron to be had. Man that makes me angry when some pecker head takes something that is not theirs. I checked with the pro shop every day for a week... nothing. Then one day I joined up with a single; good player. We had a great time playing together. He noticed my clubs, and said he had an LW just like my set that he had found and had meant to turn it in, but forgot. I was happy to get it back!!
