Kegger
Had another PT session on Saturday and made it out to the course Sunday, which equates to a very sore me on Monday! I didn't feel too bad during the round, a little soreness started to creep into the arms on the back-9, but surprisingly, the back-9 is where I started playing better! The last two Monday's have definitely shown me how out of shape I am! Next PT session is this coming Saturday. Wonder what will be sore next Monday... tommc23, Big money and MattF 3 Quote In the Sun Mountain 4.5LS 14-way bag: Driver: M2 10.5° :: Accra FX260 Fairway: M5 19° :: Fujikura ATMOS Tour Spec 7X Blue Hybrid: TS2 21° :: Mitsubishi Black 80G50 Irons: P790 (5-AW) :: KBS Tour 110 Sand Wedge: CBX-2 54° :: KBS Tour 110 Lob Wedge: RTX-3 58° :: TT Dynamic Gold Putter: Phantom X 5.5 Ball: AVX

PAgolfer2017
Hey all, Just finding my way into this thread. I've always been one who has struggled with their weight and could never keep it off. So bad to the point that I recently was the heaviest I've ever been. At 5'11, I previously topped out at 236 with my lowest weight being 203. Recently I weighed myself and was up to 242. Happy to report that, over the last 80 days I've lost 16 pounds and feel absolutely great. Still a long ways to go, but along with getting a grip on my exercising, I've also gotten much better with my nutrition. I still have the occasional pizza/burger, but gone are the days of fast food/processed food. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy I weighed myself at the very start of it, then told myself I wasn't stepping on the scale for 80 days. I found I got too caught up on the numbers instead of the process. Throughout it all I felt great and could feel the changes, and it was great to see the results. I also agree with your statement on the nutrition. I used to eat junk food all the time. Now after eating clean for awhile, my body hates it when I have something greasy/processed. It's amazing how my body reacts/processes foods now. But I love it and I'm at the point like you where I just want to keep working hard and seeing where it takes me. My daughter has gone to this gym for a couple years and she says it is basically empty after 7:00 or 8:00 in the evening, so that's when I plan on going. In the past, I stayed in shape by playing sports (basketball, tennis, softball) but I have come to the realization that I can't really do that very effectively any more so I need something else. Not a lot of time for fun, but I made the most of the time I could find. After graduation, of course, there was basic training where I had to witness non-athletes put through horrific physical regimens which were hard even for me. Some people continued to do that stuff voluntarily later in life and called it "physical fitness." Once I came home, I decided to label it "self abuse." Same thing with dieting, too. I lived this long. I'm already too old to die young, so I guess that it worked out. Big money, Rickp and Canucklehead
