Manimal26
The G425 lineup goes on sale in AUS of all places on 10/1. Drivers will be $899 AUD recommend retail price which at the current exchange rate is around $630 USD. Looks like the best stock shafts not made by ping will be the AV orange and the rouge white 130 msi and most likely not in TX. I also think that the Orange will be like the ping tensei from the G410 that was made just for them. How much would you pay to get one now maybe a full year before it goes on sale in North America? FYI Fairways will be $559 AUD or $393 USD & Hybrid $499 AUD or $350 USD Quote Driver: SIM 10.5, Graphite Design Tour AD-XC 6X Woods: TSi2 16.5, Fujikura Ventus Blue 7X Hybrid: G410 3&4H, Graphite Design Tour AD-DI 95X Irons: T-100 3-PW, Nippon Modus 120 X Wedges: T20, DG TI S400, 50/56/60 Putter: ER1.2 W/BGT Stability Shaft Ball: ProV1X-Optic Yellow Bag: Pioneer
fixyurdivot
I will need to know what PING promises in more yardage and FIR, over my G410P, to answer the question. With new G410's available for $399, I suspect not many will pay $630. Why is it that they will be available in Australia so much sooner? Unless something has changed, they still assemble all clubs in Phoenix. null
None of the Australian retailers are shipping to the US due to covid And a full year? null
The Tensei orange in the G410 wasn’t a made for shaft for Ping, it was just the non-pro version that was available in a ton of Oem drivers. Blueberry_Squishie
Not sure if there are shipping restrictions to the US for individuals. That said, it's incredible difficult for me to get a G425 and send it stateside with the current restrictions in my area. That said, not sure if @Peaksy68 would be into making a little extra dough sending it to someone who really wants one. He has a lot more freedom of movement where he is. Peaksy68
It could be done, but the logistics would be difficult to work out. Shipping would be somewhere around AUD80, depending on insurance and speed. Potential warranty issues could be something that would need to be taken into consideration. I know the owner of the local Ping stockist pretty well, he used to be a member of my club, he’d probably be more than happy to make a sale, and potentially take payment directly from any potential purchaser. Ping don’t allow online purchases in Australia, so it would have to be “in store” Golfspy_CG2, Blueberry_Squishie and JohnSmalls 3 Quote 849 Pro Evenflow Riptide 6.0 F8 3 & 5 Woods Project X Evenflow Blue 6.0 TS2 7 Wood Project X Evenflow Blue 6.0 MP18 MMC - Project X LZ 5.5 Zipcore Wedges 50,54,58 - Project X LZ 5.5 MLA Tour Mallet 33" Z Star Pioneer bag buggy
Buffly
@Manimal26 $0 to get it early. The current lineup is plenty good where it wouldn't make sense to pay extra for marginally better at the risk of costly returns internationally. bens197
I'm no longer shocked by the price of a driver. I paid $550 for my G400LST knowing that I'll use it for 4-5 seasons as one of the most important clubs in my bag. By the time I upgrade my driver, I would expect to pay $600-700 for that replacement.
