vandyland
So I have played my "home course" 11 times now and I am getting closer. I had a good round yesterday and now I have 5 holes left to birdie, of course 3 of those holes are par 3s! Pretty inexcusable to have not yet birdied the 1st hole. You really just have to hit a decent tee shot down the left and not get blocked out to have a decent chance. I haven't managed that the last few times. MsWalkrOfSky
This looks fun to get started on! I've played 5 rounds this year at the course I consider my home course at the moment. One of those rounds was an incomplete round, walked off after the 13th due to reasons (actually was on track to break 90 for the first time that round). I've got 5 of them done so far! Edit: Also, I fixed the formula for myself and @Stuka44, so that it would properly show the percentages when we add leading numbers! Caddie1966
I’ve been doing this for the past several years with a buddy. We try to get each hole at least twice a year on our home course but also keep totals. I have yet get my 2nd and 3rd holes this year. The 2nd is our # 2 index hole and the 3rd is #8 even though it’s a par 3. It’s 180-205 over water. I have 48 so far this year over 59 rounds and 2 eagles which ironically came back to back on a par 5 and par 4. Stuka44
Round 8 is in the books. Logged one new birdie ( 5/18), it was an unexpected one, 30' up the hill, on a really sloped green. And I birdied hole #7 for a 3rd, time. Didn't sniff my two remaining pars, # 1 & 3 handicap two 410ish par 4's, #1 over water, took 7 & 6, not my best effort on those two today. Larryw
We are just past the half way point for the year. Seeing lots of people making some great progress. Posting to get the bump and keep this thread alive. Have played 105 rounds so far this year and am satisified with the results to this point. The "yellow" cell fill color indicates "eagle" on those holes. Only one of the eagles is on a par 5 so still have 11 par 5s to attack. We have 3 courses (54 holes) so there is still time. Made it last year (all birdies) - getting the last hole in the 12th month. On the bright side - I already have marked off that "last hole" this year so life is good.
