Shot tracer for all shots when you play. No idea how it would work and all that, but would be cool to see an automated shot tracer as you go along.

Let's have holographic lights that auto track the ball from tee to green.

I'd settle for an audible device that would beep when you're close to your ball in the woods. Maybe in my case it would Bluetooth to my hearing aids.

Obsessed with chasing the dimpled orb.

ditto on the night golf! when I was in the Corps I loved shooting tracer rounds on the rifle range. I'd love to see glowing balls flying through the sky.

I wish there was a way to locate your ball when you hit it ob. if there was an audible sound or something. would speed everything up because when 1 person in a 4some hits their ball out usually everyone is looking around for it and occasionally they find it.

I wish ALL courses had warm up ranges - not nets, but actual ranges.

I wish there were more bathrooms on courses and water every 3 holes on EVERY course.

I wish carts were BANNED from most courses and they encouraged walking for everyone that wasn't handicapped.

That's pretty much how it is in Scotland. Most courses don't have carts, many of the ones that do require a doctor's note to be able to use them.

Do you wish there was a warm-up hole? Cameras on the par 3s? Hawaiian punch drinking fountains located throughout the course? Let's hear it.

I'll start... I wish there was more night golf. The night owl in me would love more par 3/4 courses under the lights.

Meadows Farms in Virginia has 3 nines, one of the nines has a warmup hole.  They also have a par 6 as well.

This, nothing more crushing than losing a ball to the rough you can’t find

I’d like to see a proper grass range, chipping area and practice bunker at every course so you can make sure you’re properly warmed up before starting your round

I definitely agree to the night golf. Golf is an ever growing sport globally so never rule it out 💪 I think it brings a different kind of mindset into golf and for people suffering with mental health issues it gives them the opportunity to play night golf if they are anxious about playing in the light

Reading this got me so many memories… from setting the ranges on fire from shooting tracers to times in Iraq and Afghanistan 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽

More bathrooms for sure! My home course only have one and is on the front 9

When I lived in Tulsa, I took advantage of the 18-hole par-3 night course at LaFortune Park (still there, per park website; see below). Didn't play there as often as I would have liked because my job in Tulsa was 4 pm to midnight.

Range finder that could gauge the wind

Not sure if you're into wearable's, but my Garmin Watch takes wind into account! I have the Epix (mostly bought for running/hiking, but the golf app is an added bonus)

Since there have been a lot of night golf comments, which I could not agree with more, I'll go in a different direction - put a camera at the first tee box, and each par three, and then play them live in the clubhouse/bar area. I'm just picturing a post round beer with your group, betting on where the next tee shot is going to go.

I live on a course that does not have a range. The course that hosts my league just lost its' range to a housing development (they had been leasing the land). Put me in the camp that every course should have a range.

Someone mentioned a golf ball that beeps when close by.  Rick Shiels tested one a couple years ago, and it was not that accurate as it boasted.

Chipping golf balls used by 4.1

Also putt view  glasses for greens reading..

I'll put another vote in for night golf, that would be a blast to do as a semi-regular thing.

I wish there was a local collective that all the courses would sign up to (more than just USGA or something) where all courses would operate more or less under the same rules. This isn't more for course conditions, but for operations one could expect when playing the course. They could train the counter staff, starters, and rangers to actually be efficient and consistent. And all the courses would have the same tee time schedule (every 8-10 min), all refuse walk up play at these same times etc.

Agree!!  I keep picturing golf in the beginning in Scotland, and trees were relatively non-existent.  WTH happened??

Not a lot of the courses around my area have beer carts. I would like to see more of those or at least have someone on the front and back with a little stand. I would love if most ranges would have 3 or 4 bays that had shot tracker. You could rent the bay for 1 hour at a time.

Amen to that! My local course doesn't have one either, granted we're in a small town, but it would be such a game changer.
