So how do all the specs, flight, and distances with the final config match up to your gamers? What are their costs for the set and what is the cost of the fitting?

Their costs are all pretty much industry standard. The Foreward heads cost about the same as TM P7MCs/Mizuno 24x and a bit cheaper than Titliest Txxx. Their build fees seemed pretty on par and every price I got quoted for shafts/grips/ferrule were pretty much exactly what you can find them for anywhere (no price gouging from my build)

Driver- PING 425 LST (flat setting) fujikura speeder 661TR TourX

5W- PING G30 (standard setting) Mitsubishi KuroKage 80g X (originally a 3W shaft)

3h- Sub70 939x (upright +0.5) EvenFlow Riptide 6.5-X 80g HY

Irons 4-P- Foreward (1 degree upright) LA Golf L Series-120l-5 (1.5” over length)

Wedges- Sub70 286 52degree/ Sub70 JB 56degeee both true temper Dynamic Gold S300 (standard lie, 1” over length)

Putter- Wilson Staff The L (76 degree Lie, three layer of lead tape 403g, 39”) BGT Stability Tour Black, 2THUMB OG Lite 35 grip

Ball- Maxfli Tour X

The Specs are pretty similar to what I have other than the shaft and the lie.  CC had me 1* upright on the clubs instead of flat, but I have also changed my swing since that fitting.  Weight of the shaft is the same.

For cost, I just rebuild my Srixons online without the black head which I think added another $250-300 total to price were a little over $1700 and the Forewards come out to $2100 with everything I want.  Ferrule choice, grip, head color, etc.

Which bounce did you end up with? And I assume you landed pretty standard on swing weight? And if your anything like me it’ll just about turn any sort of fade into what appears as dead straight shot and whatever distance you lose from the height gained will offset by the distance lost on over fade/draw

I am.  I landed on D4 just like my Srixons.  I think we ended up with the mid bounce which match the Srixon pretty close.  My typical miss is a pull/fade and the adjustments should help straighten that out.

Here is the combo that I plan on doing.  I think I will be doing the golden weights instead of the black though.

Gold weights with those ferrules will look awesome! Any blue in the grips to match as well?

I may ask them about matching the weights to the blue.  The grips are dark gray lamkin utx cords

Either will look great against the color contrast I think

I live literally 3 miles from the bunker.

I have been toying with trying graphite shafts in my p790s since old, and starting to feel stuff in my right elbow and some arthritis in my shoulders.

I think I’m going to just do the in person fitting and see what happens.  I’ve gone through driver and wedge fitting before but never irons.  When I do the fitting I’ll post my thoughts.

Can't go wrong with an iron fitting!  Let us know what happens

FWIW, a major reason I went heavy down the graphite shaft rabbet hole was because of elbow and bicep pains and stiffness. The lighter, graphite shafts essentially erased that…and gave me better shots on average since they were fit to my swing. I’m all-in on graphite!

Didn’t mean to sidestep the thread, this fitting model is really interesting. Definitely appreciate the brand-agnostic approach. Good to see folks thinking outside the box within the industry!
