The Masters. I honestly don't know if I could explain why. Ive just always loved this tournament and everything that comes with it. Plus it being the first of the season, if I was a player, I'd love to set up my season with this win.

The masters has the most clout and prestige. Plus I feel like better players generally do well in it. Although I have no info to back that up with. Also the money doesn't hurt. The Masters would be the Most lucrative win of the majors due to the endorsements and what not. Could be wrong but It also means I could play the tournament as long as I wanted right?

I think that's true for any of the majors

Actually it's not true of any major. It's ten years except the Masters which is longer. There is an age limit though mainly because the field was getting too week due to the non competitive former champs.

I went with the PGA for two reasons:

1. No one else will so why not. It's the strongest field beyond a doubt but clearly the weak sister perception wise.

2. I might end up being the Ryder Cup Captain. Of course Larry Nelson won two and a US Open and that didn't help him. I can't help but think that the mojo of passing him up works against the US. If not, it should. :)

So I looked it up. The masters is a lifetime invite. The U.S. open is a 10 year exemption. The open is until the age of 60. Couldn't find any for the pga

I picked the US Open - lots of history and tradition there and I've been a sucker for it ever since Roy McIvoy's 10 on 18.

Kinda like choosing which ice cream you'd like to eat - there's no wrong choice.

They are all special in their own way. I have to pick The Open Chamionship because the history goes back so far. Nice to be on the long list of "champion golfers". More so than the others, I would not only beat the other golfers, but it would likely mean that I conquered the course under very challenging conditions. Of course, it would have to be St Andrews! The weather is usually a big factor, and I really don't mind playing in wind. Rain... not so much, but I could make an exception!!

1a. The Masters. Such a feat event and lots of fun to be had inside the ropes I'm sure.

1b. The Open Championship, if played at St. Andrews. What better place other than Augusta National to win a major championship.

I over watching the US Open for the inherent difficulty that always comes with it. Seeing a shot makers course like Merion play just as hard as the bomber, 7200yd layouts is great for drama. The Alabama always has the best field but it never gets as much press as the other events. Still can't fight off the mysticism of a win at Augusta though.

The masters, because it's Augusta every year, you get the same course, here it is, all the others move around so much it's different every year, the only other major I wound want to win would be the Open, but only if it's at St. Andrews

US open always the most difficult and fun open. The Masters would be a close second followed by the British.
