Reminder to double check your waivers... I lost on on a guy because I thought I had the right guy dropped after my trade with BNG. Turned out I didn't and my bid would have netted me that guy

It's a love fest in here. What happened to the good old days of smack talking?
I'm jumping on the Team Yags ship and will follow along as they roll to an easy victory.
Really curious to see how @LeftyMatt89 performs with the one lengths and how @jlukes clubs compare to his high level fitted clubs. In fact, how would you compare the level of fitting you received for the CCC5 to your current gamers?
Well that settles that. #TEAMCHAD FTW! Ain't no way I can be rooting for the same team as you!

Awesome to see the community growing! Let's keep it going!
Big thanks to MGS for giving us all a place to go and talk golf, life, and other things!

Woo! Another fun tournament for me to screw up! Thanks Rob! haha
If you want to have change at winning this you should not pick my guys.

Could a Mod please add the "Completed a Trade with @blackngold_blood" to my profile?

Rory has some good history here.... could he be rounding into form at a good time?
or Rickie... because I STILL want him to win!
There seems to be a lot of new guys and established players making some big pushes this year. I wouldn't be surprised if we get a first time winner or someone older finally break through either.

Sure 'special'; a special level of stress
Only time I ever heard my Nana swearing with regularity was during those special Bruin’s games.

He needs to switch over to stout brews... Corona Premier no Bueno!
Mmmm I love me a good stout or porter. Much better than any light beer (for me).

Looking forward to these games and yes could go 7 but hopefully less.
There is something special about a game 7. But hopefully not in the first round! Haha

Really looking forward to this Bruins-Capitals series. It should be a good physical matchup that could easily go 7 games.
Playoff hockey is the best. Also means we’re about to get into prime golf season!

So is that all the bags locked and loaded?
Did anyone end up with something different than they were expecting going into the fitting? I know we had a number of 7 woods and big fairways and different wedge combinations.

I’m gonna start this post with a big one of these!
That folks is a big green check mark for a 2021 golfing goal!
I managed to finish the front 9 today at -1 for a 35. 2 FIR(lol) 4 GIR(including 1 GUR) 13 putts.
I was trying to hurry a little as this started happening on #6 so I figured I better stop since there was hail being reported with the storm.Great score with the tee troubles! We’re you just off the fairway?
probably best to head in at the turn with those skies!

Ball flight is a little higher than my normal but is hard to gauge since am not using my normal Driver Head. Hoping to get it back by next week.
Ah right. For some reason I read that last one as you having your driver back.
hopefully you’ll see the same results once you do!

Brooks got cut you should trade him immediately...
Na man! Short game was rusty. We all know he’s only in it for majors anyway. I just hope he counts the FedEx cup as a major!

I'm home from the fitting and it had mixed results. The fitter didn't have any X Flex shafts in driver or 3W. I get it, the course is in an older neighborhood and there were a lot of folks interested in chipping irons and 7 woods (not a slight to @jlukes but he would have to fight Barbara and Randall to demo the one 7 wood head). He had a wide range of senior and regular flex and only a handful of stiff flex shafts. Oh well, it was still fun talking to the fitter.
Some takeaways:
the HZRDUS Smoke Blue is legit with the Radspeed head.
The Snake Bite wedges will appeal to those who enjoy grooves across the entire face (Edel, TM Big Toe, Callaway PM Grind).
The MIM irons...they feel pretty darn good. Pair that with a NIppon 120 shaft and off you go.
The fairway woods are stupid good off the turf.
The matte finish on the driver and tour 5 wood looks fantastic.
I'll post my specs later. I need to do a little more research.
I’m sorry, did someone say Modus 120?
also have to agree on the fairways. Those rails make a huge difference for me hitting off the turf!

I did another session just to gather numbers from my current shaft and compare to the Nippon.
You can see the difference in Balls Speed, Carry/Total yds and smash factor. Its clear that the Nippon MB+ 65 is a winner.Balls Speed increase by 8Mphs, Carry Distance up by 16yds and Total yards by 15yds, even the smash factor was up by 0.06.
Impressive performance gains! Are you noticing any difference in flight bias? Or are you still seeing your normal flight?

Have you ever had a full set of clubs in the bag long enough to qualify for Cobra Connect?
It is a FULL SUMMER of golf with a SINGLE set of clubs you know!

Today's SuperSpeed training was going much better than Wednesdays! As I had said I struggled to move the heavy club with any velocity but today I was right up near my blue club speeds. I was about 10 MPH faster with it today.
I started the 3rd protocol but I instead of doing 4 of each club I added 3 using the counter weight club to start.
My fastest speed of the day actually came with that club on off hand swings. I hit 130 mph and was quite surprised.
Unfortunately I could feel a blister coming so I bowed out of my final 3 swings of the day.
Also this morning I did some planemate work. I really like using it the morning. Gets the muscles engaged early and helps loosen up any tightness in my lower back.

No updates yet on my daughter's hard drive repair, BUT all her professors gave her excellent grades. A few hours after getting all the results of her work, BU came back to her with an even better financial aid package so she has officially committed to transferring to Boston University. I'm so excited and happy for her!
Wow, that is great news! Glad her professors were understanding and congrats to her on the transfer!

Regional member outings would be nice! Get to see the faces behind some of these posts...or maybe not in some cases...xP
I know I've posted in the NE regional thread about tournaments and such. I'm going on a trip in June and there will be a few other Spies there for some sounds too. You could start in that thread for where you live and see who's close by!

Well that was really interesting. from the Instagram teaser and the shape of it I was expect more of a Garmin-like model with the GPS built in and viewable through the viewfinder. Which we kind of get with the front/middle/back readings. I was not expecting something with as much input at this. Could be really cool. But with Arccos Caddie already working for me I'm not sure how different the results would be.
Hopefully this will end up being a test opportunity for members. I'm still using my NX-9 HD from member tests almost 2 years ago now. It would be really cool to see how much difference all that data input can make, or just generally how well the GPS/Laser combo works for folks.
