But how did you compare statistics between your previous set and your cobra set?
You can choose a date range in Arccos. Or at least you used to be able to. I don’t see that option right now outside of “last XX rounds.”
I know that you can mark individual rounds to be counted or excluded from your stats... but that would sort of be a pain to toggle between them.

Agree with @RickyBobby_PR here. If it’s starting on-line and gently falling off (5-10 yards of movement?) then I say aim a little left and love it. A lot of the best players in the world play that fade.

Thankfully I have about 10 rounds with Arcoss already with my current clubs from my time using the system in 2019 and 2020.
My plan is to use a different email to create a new Arccos account once my cobra clubs arrive so I can view side by side data from my current set to the Cobras.
How did previous CC participants handle having Arccos on their current clubs and then getting the Corba clubs with the connected grips?
I ended up having to do what you did. There were a few issues with my subscriptionless sensors and getting the cobra ones activated without charging me on that address. We decided it was easiest for me to use a separate account after the baseline period.
Since then I’ve continued to use the new cobra account even though with the shaft change I did most of my sensors are back to my subscription free ones. Once I regrip my wedges I’ll no longer need a subscription, but I’m good for a little while longer on the Cobra account.
I think most of the other guys last year were either new users or current subscription users so there were no conflicts with existing accounts.

Unfortunately it's like any other algorithm, it needs data to be able to give results but that means you HAVE to play lots of golf
Haha yes it’s just Terrible when you *have* to go golfing twice a week isn’t it?!

I will say the one thing I don’t like is that locked down until you play. I like to go in and mess around with apps and see what they look like
Yeah I would have liked to play around in it more too. Just like right now I wish the web browser was fully updated and ready. I get that the app is more used by most though.

As long as the rain holds off I have a 7:40 tee time Sunday and a 7 am next Saturday
Nice! I feel like those first 5 rounds took forever to unlock all the Arccos features. But it ended up being pretty eye opening and perfect to lead into the challenges last year.

Sweeeeeet! Arccos stuff is starting to arrive! Time for the fun to begin!
Who’s getting out there for a baseline round this weekend?

I love the headcover... but I want it for my Hybrid. Come on Harry! Haha

Hey! Which flex? I was a 5 year+ user of C-Taper Lite stiff shafts in 714 AP2 irons. I moved to PX LZ 6.5s last year during cobra connect and swapped to Modus 120x over the winter, which is what I was originally fit for in the Cobra irons, but it was unavailable due to Covid.
I loved the feel of them and had great results. I think the modus 120x feels smoother. I should note that I’ve also picked up swingspeed and for better into a heavier weight than I did back in my c-taper lite days.
they were very consistent or me. If they ended up being recommended at a fitting I’d have no issues playing them again.

Nice!
That's always such an intimidating hole; you have the practice green right behind the hole and the clubhouse where people are checking in and milling about right there too.
Love driving this hole though. You catch the slope right and you can really bomb one down there.
Oh yeah I’m the summer the right bounce and you can less than 100 in. I find it most intimidating when the flag is back. Always feel like I’m going to sail it past off that downhill lie.

... Had one of my favorite to play rounds today that was on fire right from the start. My new Sim2 Max 3 wood arrived yesterday and I wanted to put it through a test today. I usually hit driver on 10 holes so I moved up one tee box and played my new 3 wood off those tees instead. First hole hit a nice drive followed by a 7 iron from 165 to 15' and made the birdie putt. It was my last hole left in the 2021 birdie challenge so off to a great start. Birdied #2 and drove the green on #8 a short par 4 with the Sim2 3 wood. Hit a big drive on #9 and just missed my 4th birdie with my 3rd lip out on the front zs the Greenskeeper must have been in a bad mood because the point were brutal.
... Ran into 2 groups that stopped for snacks so came to a standstill on #10 and my back started to get tight and the magic was gone. Managed all pars til #18 and hit another big drive that ended up in the front of a divot. Really? Bogie free round and one of my best drives of the day deserved better but hey, that's golf ain't it. Squirted right into some grassy mounds and chipped to 5 feet but the putt broke much more than I thought and ended with my only bogie.
... The Sim2 Max is just insanely long for a 3 wood. I had 250 to the green on the last par 5 and came up 1yd short so 240 from the deck is big for me. On most of the tee shots (from 1 tee forward) I was as long or longer than my normal driver landing area so not only is the Sim2 Max easy to hit from the fairway it is crazy consistent off the tee as I only missed 1 of 10 fairways so to quote Eddie Money:
I think I'm in love
And my life's lookin' up
I think I'm in love
'Cause I can't get enough (no, no, no)
I think I'm in love
It's gotta be loveGreat round! Seems like Phoenix is treating you well! How do the courses compare from where you were in Chicago?

Nothing super exciting today, but my drive on #9 will keep me coming back for more.
Set me up in the middle of the fairway with a GW approach shot. I messed that up but chipped it tight for the tap in birdie

Well as @Lacassem eluded to earlier we played a Thursday AM 9 hole round today. I fared better than Mark but only slightly so. I ended up with a 44. Start off well with a Par after just missing the fairway, stroking a hybrid exactly where I wanted to and then an OK chip and two putts.
Second hole is where the party started... Took out the same hybrid and wanted to hit the same shot... blocked it far enough right it deserved to be lost, and almost did the same with my provisional. Thanks to significant clearing over the winter I found both. Couldn’t get out of the crap and got a double bogey. Actually got penalty strokes on the next two holes, one in the water on a par three (ended up double bogey), and one driving into the marsh/protected area on a par 5 and continued to compound mistakes (triple). I almost never take driver there, as it is a risk, But Arccos said go for it and I gave it a shot. The issue is if you go left your cut off around 250 yards where the right gets down to 300. I went left and flew into the crap. Then I finally settled down and hit some decent shots going +1 on the last 5 holes.
Highlights: Putting continues to be rock solid. I had 3 1-putts and 6 2-putts. I tested myself plenty as my first putts were not rolling to tap in territory. I think I made 3 or 4 in the 6-8 foot range to avoid a 3 putt.
The most impressive would be after this show on #8:
This wasn’t exactly the shot I was setting up for as the flag was on the far right, not the far left of the green. Arccos had my distance to the hole as 67 feet. I was able to knock the first to around 6 feet and made the second putt of par.
My best hole of the day came on #9, a downhill dogleg right par 4.
Here’s the tee shot:
It was into a light wind that was also pushing a bit to the right. I got plenty of height on this one which is something I have been working on. From there I had about 115 to the flag.
I got too cute and came up a few paces short of the green and kicked right off the slope. I took my 52* wedge and hit it in tight for an easy 1 foot tap in.
Not a bad way to end the round. Keeps ya wanting to come back for more!

Replacement @PrecisionProGolfNX9 slope for my NX9 Pro HD arrived today. The new design is super similar to the ones we reviewed. It’s a little longer and they must have taken my advice because the moved the mode button further away and recessed it which was my biggest issue.
Overall a great example of customer service!

Agreed. I really like the sound of the M5. Not sure how to describe it - THWACK. Not very metallic at all to my ears.
M5 has an amazing sound. Coming from the G30 the M5 had a driver sound/feel that was addictive to the point of making me want to hit driver off the tee even when it wasn't needed.

Not really something I bought, but its a replacement incoming:
I noticed the last time out playing that my @PrecisionProGolf NX9 HD Slope from testing almost two years ago now had a dark spot on the lens. I cleaned both the viewfinder and outer lens and couldn't see any markings or scratches that could be causing it so I reached out to the customer support team to see if they had seen anything like that before.
After describing the issue the Customer Support rep took my info and noted that they would be sending me out a new unit to replace the defective one. The only thing I can think of is a bad seal somewhere and some moisture got in and its a mold spot or something like that.
Either way, Kudos to the care team over there as it's already on its way and should be here tomorrow, within about a week of me reaching out! I've enjoyed using the NX9 on the course and this customer service experience only adds to my happiness with the product and company.

Update 5/20/21
Cobra RADSPEED XB
STATS: 10/10 Hit 11/14 fairways, and I posted this in the how did you play thread last week. The 3 I missed were literally by a combined total of about 6 feet, and easily playable from the light first cut. Longest drive was 221 yards (decent downwind and firm fairways ) but had a many more in the 200 to 205 range, up from the previous week. I attribute most of it to just feeling better on the course that day. score was was much better as well vs the previous week.
Comfort: 10/10 As mentioned above, I just felt more comfortable overall this day vs the previous week, and it translated to the game. Really felt like I was gong to hit every fairway. The driver is a bit heavier than the TSI (mainly due to shaft) but felt very stable with the Ventus shaft. I didn't anything close to a wild shot with it.
Sound: 6/10 In the subjective category, it is much louder than the TSi, but then most other drivers are. I wouldn't say it was annoyingly loud like some old Cobra drivers like the Cobra ZL back in the day. Certainly not anything that would keep me from playing it, especially with a fairways hit % like that.
Overall: 8/10 It's early on, but this will be a contender to get most of the play time for me this year. I think a big part of it could be the Ventus shaft. But I also do believe in the tech that has been added with the Radial weighting playing a big part of the accuracy.
RAAAADDDDD baby!
I'm still getting used to the Ventus in mine, but it's starting to really behave for me. I do really enjoy the look of the infinity face and find it super easy to align while being a nice shape overall.

This should be a fun thread to follow, but just want to say it's good to have you around here again. And even better to have you out playing!
I really need to get out and hit the TSi series. Someone at my range had one but he hadn't even hit it yet! I wanted to live vicariously through him, especially since he was an equipment guy who recognized the AutoFlex in my bag.
I still can't get over the sound the TSi3 had when Mark was hitting it. I need to go try it myself in an appropriate loft.

Every once in awhile when I hit a bad shot and the ball ends up in a horrible place, my wife sings this song for me. Unfortunately, I have been hearing it a lot lately.
When I ask my college friend what he got on a hole and he achieved a certain high number he often will sing me this:
I should note he's also 6'5 and probably 275lbs... so It's not something you'd expect him to sing.

Rob, so glad you’re well enough to get back out there any rebuild some of that strength. I know we’re all looking forward to your thoughts on these, but more so just really happy to see you back on your feet.
I’m going to be following along for more of your impressions on the TSi1. My dad has lost a lot of speed and strength and as a result his best drives are in the range you hit on your last round out. But he’s always trying to do it with a bunch of “as seen on TV” clubs. I’d love for him to try something like the TSi1 or other lightweight builds

I have a pair of the Jackpot pants as well and love them. Thinking about picking up a pair of the Jackpot Tailored ones as well for a slimmer fit.
The other paid I have is the tailored fit. They still have room in the seat and thigh, but the leg tapers down nicely. I like them a lot. The 5-pocket pair I just got is more of a straight fit, and they also run a big longer even in the same size.
