I am looking for some opinions on what wedges I should get. Looking for 52, 56, and 60 with higher bounce. My ping wedges are getting outdated and not my preferred bounce. I am very interested in possibly a Hi-toe because I have heard great things. If anyone have tried the Hi-toe 3 and can let me know how it is that would be great. But, I am also open to hearing other opinions or if anyone has any for sale that can be shipped new or used.

I haven't played the Hi-Toe 3 but have a Hi-Toe Raw(2022 model) 50-degree with 9 degrees of bounce. A friend of mine ordered it, didn't like it (don't read into that, he's fickle when it comes to clubs), it found its way to my bag and I've been using it for the last year and a half. It's on its way out of my bag for a 52-degree MG4 I have on order. Not so much because of performance but because of gapping(I have a 48,56,60 so the 50 is a bit of an odd fit).

I like it well enough. It's a great looking club (love the raw finish) and does really well for me on full-swing shots For a while it was my most consistent approach club.  I've tried using it for chipping, but here in Florida I play on a lot of very soft, wet turf and grainy Bermuda, and the combo of 9 degrees bounce (versus 12 or 14 on my other wedges) and me being generally terrible means that the Hi-Toe is much more likely to dig in than my Vokeys.  That said off tight/dry lies it has worked well, and I think the 56 and 60 are available with more bounce.  I know one of the selling points on the Hi-Toe/Full-Face wedge thing is the variety of shots you can hit with it around the greens, but I just haven't used it that way enough to provide feedback on that aspect.

I had one very similar to this years ago for my motorcycle gear. Had I known years ago that I was going to be playing golf this late in life, I would have never got rid of it, and just removed the center shelf to hold my bag

So far so good, and if my bag started to tip over it’d be easy enough to put a bungee cord across the front of the unit to hold it in place.

So, I replaced my 10+ year old box store irons last week. Got fitted a while back and sorted out the shafts, then bought 6-PW Sub 70 699 v2. Got them just two days ago but have already had them out to the range twice. Hopefully I’ll get in the first 18 today! MMT 80 graphite shafts.

I got the black ones, because they match the shafts and why not? They look awesome, feel wonderful and hit the ball just great! I’m sure they won’t wear quite as gracefully as the satin, but I’m not a pretty guy myself, so my clubs don’t need to be! I know going from a 120g steel craft to a properly fitted 80g graphite shaft probably has the biggest impact, but very happy!

Also added an 849D driver on the new 24’ Ventus velocore+ blue. Wow is that thing light!

First session with the MLM shows me picking up about 6-8 yards on most of the irons, which is what I was expecting based on the fitting. We’ll see if that’s consistent or not on the links. The Driver saw a little bit of yardage loss, but I’m still feeling that club out and learning how to hit it. Even if I lost the yardage (which I don’t think I will), I hit the ball so much cleaner up the middle that it would be worth it. Another major technology upgrade coming from a box store, 10 year old driver. But gotta learn how to swing the new guy, for sure!

As has been mentioned in other threads, the customer service was off the hook. Wonderful job by Jason and his crew. Couldn’t be more excited! For a new(er) golfer, these are just awesome!

I recently purchased a LAB putter from a friend who never used it on the course. It's a mezz.1 max armlock with the upgraded Accra shaft and I'm loving it. It's been a little tough to get used to long putts, but that's expected with a new putter. Really enjoying it. I'm 6'3 so the armlock method is very comfortable for me.

I recently bought the lab mezz max broomstick. I have the mezz 34 inch and had to send it to lab to get the lie angle changed. I found this lab broomstick in near excellent condition. Cappuccino head not my first pick but actually like it. Found it for just over $500 and always want to try a broomstick. Been playing around with it the past couple of days and absolutely love it. It gets me in a great spot to where I can feel like I’m using more my core and back muscles to putt. Making more putts in that 8-12 ft range, speed control is much better too. Never thought I would be playing a broomstick but it’s going straight in the bag.

Picked up this Aerojet LS for cheap. I was the first and only bidder, didn’t really expect that to happen, but here we are. I want to compare it to the regular AJ and test just how low spinning it is.

The Maxfli gloves and balls were both BOGO deals, couldn’t pass them up. The Maxfli gloves are actually pretty nice.

I just picked up a Spornia Spg-8. Got it for $350 off of FB Marketplace. Anybody else have one? I can't keep the thing from falling over every 15 minutes.

If you are using it outside, you can try putting tent stakes on the bottom.  If you are using it inside and it's sitting on a carpet or a mat that you don't care about, then you can run some rope up through it and tie them down that way to the base

One thing I'm NOT buying any time soon, like ever: Cobra is bringing back its 3D-printed irons for a limited engagement, per an email that hit my inbox this morning. Just for fun I clicked the link. List price $3000 for 4-PW, and customization can take it a lot higher than that. For that price, they'd damn well better swing themselves and then make the putt for you.

Had some store credit from a club trade-in and got a deal on a new Honma 757-S Driver 9* Stiff flex.  I finally got to take it out and loving it so far. It's 450cc so doesn't look much different than my old 460cc head, but initially, I was hitting a bit out towards the toe with a slight fade but by the 8th hole I'd straightened it out.

This is an excellent club and the whole line is excellent. I am debating buying one myself as the prices have dropped now and everything Honma from the last 3 years has been phenominal. I just am very happy with my current Yamaha RMX 220. Great choice. The feel and sound of the Honma especially when paired with the matching made-for vizard shaft is really top notch.

Recent pick up was these Mackdaddy wedges. I found the 50 degree w the modus 120 and its my go to 100-105 club so I purchased the 54 and a 58 PM grind MD3 that I refinshed by matching the green paint and drill holes on the pm grind with the the md4s. Put the modus shafts on all with matching red black ferrules and iomic grips. Spin and feel on this is as good as any wedge I have ever tried (not as soft as wilson staff or epon) but the distance is so consistant. And the PM grind is really effective. Im landing it much closer to the pin than ever before and opening it feels so natural.  Cost was under 100 for the 54/58 and the 50 was found and unclaimed for 3 days so its mine for free.
