So after 2 weeks of them trying to find them thru one of their local networks, they couldn't get them. So I collected my refund and went ahead and bid on and won the deal on a brand new set of Hybrids and Irons by Adams on ebay. The New Idea Velocity's. Set comes with the 3,4,5 Hybrid a 6 & 7 Hybrid-Iron and the 8,9 & Pw in cavity backs. I also, picked up the matching 2 hybrid and a Gap wedge to go with them. Everything for about $300, not too bad I thought. Anyway, they should be at the house waiting for me when I get home today and will be testing them out tomorrow. Also picked up a SuperStroke Pistol GT 2.0 for my Odyssey Metal-X #7 and I'm loving it. In the near future I'd like to pick up an M1 hybrid. Hit one at the club the other day with the 25g weight in the toe and loved it. Unfortunately I just saw the blog post about the Mizuno T7 wedges. I absolutely WILL have those when they come out. I love the blue, but I'm pretty sure they won't be offered in LH. I got it a few days ago, but my wife had surgery 2 weeks ago and I have had to provide round the clock care for her and be her wheels for the last 2 weeks. I have someone coming to sit with her tomorrow while I'm gone to play for a few hours. I've been couped up in the house for 2 weeks. I have been able to work on putters for people, which one customer sent me 12 to work on so I've been busy with golf stuff, but I'm looking forward to testing the Concept 3L. Even with the Speeder 869 in a Tour X I could hit nothing but a hook with it. Grabbed my Adams Red and could move it all over the place. I am calling BS on TM hybrids being the new Adams. The Red may just be the last great hybrid Adams ever makes and I am on the hunt for a few more of the heads to keep in case something happens to this one. Spent 30 mins on their practice sim hitting the PTx to work some distances. They carried a bunch of smaller brands that places like Golfsmith and Golf Galaxy don't stock so it was cool to see those in person. I had been searching for one that would protect my ears and provide add'l ventilation.
