Are you struggling with your putting currently, I would caution about putting a new putter in the bag a couple days before the championship, I did this in an inter club match and struggled and should not have done it, be careful as it may cost a stroke or 2 during the round.

I have been. I usually am very confident. But have lost this lately. I needed a change (4 years same putter). I had 28 putts today. Made some very nice par saves. Hit 5 gir's. And made 2 birdies. For I can hit more greens and keep that ratio I'll be very happy.

Got both for $152, shipped.

That's what came on the Cobra F6 irons..........nice grip......does handle moisture very well....yesterday we played through a short rain storm....

I had them on my wedges and like them a lot. I needed to put new grips on the irons anyway so figured I may as well do everything while I was at it.

I picked up a new type of glove to try as a range glove. I found a Under Armor Strikeskin Camo glove at Ross of all places for 6 bucks. Feels very durable and still a bit soft. The camo on it is a bit much, but for a range glove it is fine.

With my foot on ice yesterday, I trolled the golf sites. Found my fave Hirzl gloves at 19.99. Always pick them up anytime I see them sub $20, so got a couple spares. Then, made an impulse buy on a Titleist TMB 2 iron at a good price on ebay. Hit this club on a couple of different occasions with great results (fairway, within 15-20 yds of driver distance--hit the shots after hitting in play drivers just to compare). Do like the long irons better than my hybrid, so I'm 'hoping' this replaces the hybrid. Probably a pipe dream, but WTH!

Went to GolfTec for a video practice session in anticipation of my first round in 8 weeks tomorrow (out with a foot stress fracture since the first week of June). Got my first swings with the Titleist TMB 2 iron after I had finished practicing with the other clubs (swing was remarkably good after an 8 week layoff). Wow, ridiculously easy to hit! Hit only 5 shots with it, but each one one the screws with a good boring ball flight! Can't wait to see if it carries to the course!

Hopefully you have better luck with them than I did. Bought two of them and they lasted a combined three rounds of golf. Highly disappointed.

Maybe I got two rejects but the first one ripped at a seam in the index finger after nine holes and the second ripped at a seam in the palm after 45 holes. I normally get a month plus out of my Titleist gloves.

If it rips then so be it, it was cheap. Can't expect it to hold up against a Titleist glove.
