Golf in Japan

One of the best courses I've ever played is the Taiheyo Masters course in Gotemba, Japan near Mount Fuji. Conditions were immaculate, but it's definitely an experience to play golf with an automated cart - just push a button then watch it go on the cart path.

I thought green fees in Monterey, CA were expensive until I played golf there, where green fees costed $400..

 

Awesome experience and it's definitely something new to play nine holes then take a 1 hour lunch break filled with a full lunch and beer then heading to the 10th tee.

I played a course in Osaka about 8 years ago, no automated cart but we did take a break after the ninth hole had lunch then went back for the second 9. Quite the experience
