Golfing Today?

The little one has a lesson today, and then we'll play 9 afterward. This will be the last time I touch my clubs for about six weeks. I go under the knife this coming Thursday. My surgeon said no golf for two weeks, then chipping and putting only for another month or so.

It was great to be out. Played a course that I usually play 2-3 times a year and I hit the ball very well. I left my putter in the basement and had to putt with a blade that was one of the guys in the group. I shot 76 but for 48* and 15 mph winds I'll take that in January. Going to be a fun year.

Almost hit 50 today in NE Ohio. It was soggy but the sun was out and the snow is gone for now. First round of 2018 in the books!

Playing today at 11:00 as our normal day (Tuesday) is going to be frigid.  High of 62 today so heading out this morning and getting er done!

Played yesterday in some Crazy wind. It was 2 to 2.5 clubs most of the day. Still had fun.

Rev totally agree. It was also not the prevailing wind direction so it was good to see the course that way also.

Not for me - snow and cold moved back in yesterday. We went from playable weather this past weekend to 20's and 2 inches of snow.

Agree! It sucks UP here too. Another 10 days below freezing in a row, probably be 3 weeks by the time it's back to “normal”.

Apparently, I brought the Palm Springs weather back with me last week.  It's been in the 60's for the past 5 days, although with some hefty winds.  61* today with only 5-10mph winds so I will be walking 18 with my club buds today.  Headed out in 30 minutes.  I managed to walk 9 holes on Monday without any discomfort from my November foot surgery, so I don't expect any problems today.

Wednesday morning 65' BUT windy. 43-44=87! Horrible! First shot was 235yd unfortunately best of the day. Had 2 birdies but Wwaaayy too many doubles. If I could putt could have least negated them to bogies. I'm mean 4-5 footers which are usually no brainers. Switching to Odyssey #7 Oworks and see if that helps.
