null
Why would you own two drivers if one of them is "the most consistent driver you've ever bagged". I guess if you have the monetary means and like switching equipment because that is what you enjoy, than more power to you. Otherwise, I see it doing more harm than good. Kor.A.Door
I bag the BBA 816 DBD. I also have 2 X2hot pro drivers in the garage. I hit them all equally well, I could bag any of them, but I am hitting the DBD pretty well, so no change yet, I may save some hits on it this winter and switch to the old X2hot. JBH
A friend of mine has two drivers and for no reason at all. Actually it is because he has no idea what equipment he has. One of the drivers is a more modern large driver, I think it is called the killer bee. The other driver is part of an old set, that has 1w stamped on it. It is a steel headed driver with a steel shaft. The head is smaller than a modern 3w, and is about the size of a modern 5w.

yungkory
My buddy bags 2 sometimes, he's the best golfer I know personally, so I can't really argue with his methods. If it didn't cost me anything, I'd do it. Otherwise I'd just go for another, more in-depth fitting with my Epic. I want to hit some of the JDM shafts to see what kind of numbers I can get. When I went for my Epic fitting, they only had a few of the "upgrade" shafts available. I like the Epic because I can feel where I hit off of it, and it has a different tone when you hit out of the middle as well. chemclub
I've been thinking about getting a Wishon 919F/D or a similar deep-faced 3-ish wood from another manufacturer. I don't really hit 3w off the deck, only as a safe tee club. So it might be nicer to have a 3w with a larger, more forgiving, face for off the tee. My thinking if I ever did need to play it off the deck, the taller face would lead to a lower trajectory bullet which definitely has its uses on the course. MDGolfHacker
I'd bag two of the exact same drivers...then go out with a foursome I DON'T know and on a bad drive, either break the shaft in two or toss the driver in the lake....on the next hole I'd casually pull out the backup driver just to see the expressions on their face I kid of course...since driver abuse is real... Golfspy_CG2
I had two earlier this year, where I played the Srixon 565 most of the summer. Toward late summer only having 13 clubs in the bag, i put the 917 D3 in along with it. Played a few casual rounds by myself, where I hit both drivers off the same tee with the SC200 to give me some numbers oneach. The Carry numbers were very close, but when I got to the balls in the fairway, the 917 was usually 10 to 15 yards further, I think the lower spin and more of a mid vs high flight gave me a bit more rollout. So I carried both for a while. I now only have the 917, but if I were to add a 2nd driver, it'd be either the F7/F7+ or I would consider the Epic if I went and got fit for it. Miketheripper
I actually have three drivers at this time the F6, bio cell plus and AMP cell. I don't really get along with the bio cell plus, so that one's probably going to be sold or traded in, the AMP cell is really consistent and pretty long since reshafting it with a 3/4" shorter prolaunch red shaft, so I think it's pretty safe as my backup for a few more years.
