Pipe Dream

Wanted to toss this show out there and see what you are thinking about it. I would not consider myself to be a golf channel junkie, I do enjoy the tour coverage, I'll even go as far as to admit that I am a Big Break fan. I avoid most instructional shows and what not, and would rather not even get started on what I think about the Morning Drive.

 

Anyway, more to the point. What is your take on the new show Pipe Dream? Initially I was very intrigued about this show. I had no idea who this Mark Burk guy is/was, whatever, and now I'm not so sure exactly what the purpose of this show is. (If its to get him ready for the champions tour then why allow him to continue living in the tube, why not hook him up with a hotel room and a range key and say have at it)

 

So here I am devoting time to cameras following around some guy I have never heard of wondering if the golf channel is helping this guy, hurting, exploiting...

 

Whats the vibe people are getting off this show. So far my vibe is mixed.

Google for a few minutes and you'll find out he's not a very sympathetic figure. He seems to be a user, loser, and lazy bum. Won't be watching.
