Hitting Mats

Hi all,

I put in a Skytrak with an 8x10 bay. As typical, I laid down a couple layers of puzzle mat , covered it with AstroTurf from HD an started the search for my mat. I tried a few before I got it right and I thought I would share it here to maybe save some time and money for you.

 

I ended getting the 5'x10'  tee line turf from Allturf in Georgia. This is designed to be used outdoors on the backside of grass hitting areas at the range. I couldn't believe the price ($391!!) and quality. It will take a regular tee, super comfortable to hit from (no soreness) and it reacts appropriately to your  contact. By that I mean, if you hit it fat, you can feel it and the ball flight is affected accordingly!

Shipping was fast and they even gave me a veteran's discount. I could not be happier with the product, service, and overall customer experience.
