Anyone with kids or grandkids knows how special Halloween is to the young people. Before I pull the trigger I want to make sure I get the specs dialed. I could game the stock set, but since I have the opportunity to do a proper fitting I am going to take advantage… may throw in a driver fitting too. I only have one issue. I refuse to put a 460cc driver in the bag. So it will just be a figure out which shaft works best in the GT4 type of day. Might see what the fairway metals are all about too, looking at a bag revamp. I have too many options at the top of the bag, and lacking in the scoring department. It was a great visit, especially knowing how long it's been since I'd seen them all. I got to see my youngest nephew (HS sophomore) play a football game - it's his first year playing football, ever. Plus I got to see my middle nephew (HS senior) play 4 soccer games, including his senior night last night. He's the keeper and kept a clean sheet until they pulled him to let him go play some forward and try to score (he was a forward until HS, when he became a keeper). He had a couple really good headers from corner kicks, just couldn't get it to go. But it was so fun to watch him play. He has track in the spring, so I'll get to watch him run before he graduates. He runs hurdles and the 4x100. It was just a good 10 days all around (expect nutritionally - lots of eating out on the run). So glad I went and suffered through working from her dining table. A player had to leave after the 2md hole, so I got to play 7 holes! We placed 7th overall. Not unhappy about it either! Won a $25 chili's gift certificate too! Nobody got a hole in one on the challenge holes, but there were 4 hole in one's for the day! I had to leave right after to get my sons anniversary dinner started. Wife decided we needed a new toilet upstairs (which I have been delaying), but decided I would at least buy the new one. She then wanted it installed… Got the old one out and put the new one in, which seemed the go on way to easily… Which, it did…we now have a water spot on the ceiling (repeat of a prior leak where said toilet overflowed). A second trip to the hardware store and a larger seal and the toilet is in. Did get to hit a few balls into the net before the toilet events happened. Hope everyone had a great day!
