I actually would have to agree with this. I think it should be more common place for them to ask if you want your clubs cleaned after your round. I’m also one to clean my club after every shot so by the end of the round I don’t need it but every time I play resort courses or private clubs (usually forced to take a cart) I’m not even out of the cart and they’re wiping down already cleaned clubs. I’m not a fan of them pulling headcovers off either but it is what is.

Now with that being said I typically bite my tongue and give them a few bucks or more if I really enjoyed my round and they’re friendly. I’ve been on the other side of the tipping before so I’m not going to get bent out shape for someone doing their job.
