I think the testing window needs to be re-opened.

ever since this testing reporting period ended, the triple digit temperatures finally got to San Antonio.

Have played a couple rounds in this heat and both with the Pro models (one with the gray and one with the white) .... glove still feel great. Ventilation is fantastic and gloves remain comfortable throughout the entire round

That's why testing really never ends! We only put the final review date down so we can get the recap and more ready for the companies providing the reviews.

A quick update on how the gloves are doing.  Been rotating thru the different models - still prefer the breathability of the Pro over the Max.  The grippy nature proved itself with the older grips of the Tommy Armour 845s Silver Scots I played today.

After 56 rounds of golf in temperatures over 100 degrees my Pro is truly starting to show some wear. But what a glove! I have washed it once so it is dirty, but still supple and comfortable to slide on my hand.

Wow, 56 rounds since you've started the testing!  That's an achievement in itself.  But yes I do love my Claw gloves.  They last a long time and I love that they don't get all nasty and crinkly like other gloves.  Been using them for years and will continue.

Been exclusively using the White Pro glove to really put some shots and time into a single glove

Currently the glove has survived about 7 rounds and 8 practice sessions for an estimated total of about 970 swing .... nearly the 1,000 mark on one glove.

image.png.ba4aaeabb4fdf9ac46d5d32177f644ec.png

Where marks have shown up as indicated below, but the glove still feels and fits fine ... albeit a bit dirty now.

The wear marks on the palm haven't gone through the glove itself, just the silicone material has been worn down. I don't notice any difference in grip on the club with the wear mark now.

image.png.67a40d1193b53a1b0933e23b9c52ff0e.png

Another good thing ... all the stitching doesn't show signs on of wear yet. All along the thumb and the edges of the glove still look good and no apparent weak spots are visual at this time.

image.png.790beedeb62b9fbce5e2e6b74b3ce865.png

Speaking of dirty .... a new glove out of the box/envelope on the left and the current state of the glove on the right .... might be time to actually give this a proper wash and not just a hose soaking

A bit of backstory; I received a couple of these as a Christmas gift from my son - one in a L the other in a XL ( he couldn't remember which size I wore). I tried them over the winter here in Fl. and didn't care for the glove (note: there was little to no difference between the L and XL). It had stiff, scratchy feel especially compared to my FJ or PGASS gloves so, into the spare golf bin they went. My hands sweat a lot and this past summer didn't help with most days being in the 108-112 heat index. This is what my gloves look like after a doz. rounds - it doesn't matter whether their FJ, Titleist or the PGASS gloves.

IMG_1282.jpg.d3c5e1b90ab781f0056af9edb370d0be.jpg

I just recently bought 6 pair of the PGASS gloves which are my preferred glove now (superior to FJ and 6 pair for $50.) but I decided to hold off opening the packs since they would look like the glove in the previous photo until it cools down a bit here in Fl.

IMG_1281.jpg.1d61f8ba0a9345dd7907aded2117e6b3.jpg

For giggles I decided to temporarily use the Claw gloves. As mentioned previously there seems to be little to no difference in size between the 2. Not sure if it's a manufacturing/design issue or they L was just mismarked.  Also, I'm not sure which model since the tag only shows the size. I like the top side of the glove since it is mesh and it reminds me a bit of FJ's rain glove, although the rain glove does have a softer feel. My issue is the palm side which has a non breathing surface. It's still a bit scratchy, but at least I can wash it. Hopefully, it will hold up til the temp/humidity decreases.

Re: the sizing, we were told that they have recently moved all manufacturing to a new plant, but that some of the gloves in circulation are still from the old plants so there may be some slight differences in sizing.

This is the snippet that was shared with us ....

The Pro Grey and Max gloves are made from the same supplier where the Pro White gloves are made by our previous supplier.
The Max and Pro Grey should be more consistent size-wise where the Pro White is not as consistent due a different factory process and cutting.

Probably the final update on my Claw Pro. I have used it now for 108 days and washed it twice.

Hands down the finest hot weather glove I have ever put on my hands. The silicone is starting to wear out in my grip area so I will retire this glove. I have 6 unused leather gloves I will use over the winter and have a brand new Claw Pro in my possession by May 1 next year for the summer golf season.

What a test! Thanks @GolfSpy_APH for giving me the opportunity to test this glove. I would have never spent the 25 bucks to buy this glove. Now I cannot see me golfing in the Arizona heat without one.

80 or so rounds of abuse in 100 degree plus temperature pics.

I have to completely agree with you!!  I've been using Claw gloves for a couple years now and love them.  They last forever, never get "crinkly" and have great grip.  I've seen the same wear you do in the palm over time, but that's after a lot of use.  And I'd say 80 rounds is a lot of use.  Definitely worth the price.

Well done and congrats on getting out that much!

I have a similar wear spot on the palm and other one is on the thumb tip.

I'll be curious as I rack up the usage if it does impact the "grippiness" feeling. So far not so much, but if the spot expands more I'm sure it will.

Finally did get around to washing the glove ....

Going left to right we have brand new .... dirtiest (7 rounds and like 8 practice sessions) .... post washing

image.png.ea4714d36387f19f7e17e5c0f40baab3.png

The glove definitely needed it and looks way better. Washing did not negatively impact any stitching, velcro, existing wear spots, or the size/fit of the glove.

Silicone ribbing still retains its tacky characteristic

Overall, the glove lives on and is still on the bag

My current shot counter ....

Still just playing the Pro White to really put some use into it.

The wear spot on the palm isn't noticeably bigger. The wear spot on the thumb tip has grown. Grippy-ness is still there

No where near the 80ish rounds from @EnderinAZ, but slowly making it there

Pretty settled on the Max for the fall season / still holding up well.  Was looking at it while playing Sat and noticed it’s only a bit grungy and not seeing any wear patterns or silicone breakdown.  Will be in play again tomorrow if all goes well.

Well I put the Pro White in the used pile yesterday. The grip is now falling off along my finger-palm interface.

But, what a glove. Up around 85 rounds in crushing heat. It is Prime day right now and I am going to go see if the Claw is on sale!😁
